Infosys great for experienced people who wants to retire or someone who wants to setle. Work culture is great and no one can force you do certain things. Best for women employees.

Dislikes

No promotions and it's almost impossible to move from one position to another.

Appraisals and hike is not done properly in each cycle and performance review is not taken seriously by managers it s just a comment section for them in feedback which remains in words not reflected in salary .

I like the infosys but appraisal is not good Also there is no good internal management system so otherwise all good

I don't like the internal management its deploying project random bases not on skills based then given training already there are lots of employees have the skills but they did not go for it random people they taken

I don’t like much aspects in infosys and its policies.

First of all there will be no hikes even you work more than 4 years and even if you work up to your mark exactly when the appraisal time they’ll release from the project so that you can’t ask them for appraisal if you ask for appraisal they will say you are not in the project till the projected time so you are not applicable for appraisal.

If you are in project and maintains good relationship with manager, Your job will be secure. If not you will be released from project and kept under PIP which keeps you in danger

Dislikes

No proper hikes. No proper recognization. No proper leaves. No proper project as per your skill.

Nothing is good at Infosys. Very toxic work culture is present here.

I didn't like everything about Infosys, because of very rude management and no help from HR's and you won't get projects based on your core skills. You need to do any kind of work .. like developer also need to do manual testing work and other works. After some days they will assign the same kind of work to you, and slowly you will forget your core skills.

I belive if infosys will again work on the 2-3 sectors then this one is that company where employees never want to switch it another one. 1. Hike/ salary + Benifits ( Cab Provides) 2. Promotions 3. Onsite opportunities need to increase and give a more feasibility to work with new technologies (I.e, if any employee are from the infrastructure and want to move with the development or ai then they can move easily) . Highly toxic work culture. Unit heads run the units as their private enterprises. Very fragile egos. Asking any question can be a reason enough for them to spoil your career. Unit heads create fake proofs for promoting their favorites and also they do the same when they have to spoil anyone's career. HR is for manager protection andnot for employee. You will join and leave the company at the same salary. Employee going on sick leave is also used against them during appraisals. Initiatives like IJP, salary correction and appraisals are all hoax. Work balance is good. Only 2 days of office remaining days wfh. Also the best part I felt was that for 2 days which you are going to office can be also done for only 3.5 hours rest you can do wfh.
