The only thing I like about working in HCLTech is that the NAME speaks it all. Bass Name kha rahi hai ye ab apna nothing else. Family relatives colony walo ke samne 1 respect create ho jati hai that this person is working in Indian MNC.

Toxic work culture No growth within the organisation. Even after you spend more time then the required time to switch IJP. micromanagement illegally use of authority by senior person Unprofessional behaviour by senior authorities employee HR partner don't listen to employees query and only support the managers in any case. They'll hire you work a X profile and will get you onboarded in a project with requirement of Z profile. This being either for the offshore employees or the bench employees. Appraisal letter is delayed by half a year. WFO is only applicable on Males at NV location as they a policy in which females are required to WFH after 7pm. Although these female employees don't have any problem in staying in campus in case there's any event or DJ night or some celebration kind of thing. Work life balance is great but depends on project and the management. Great choice to Kickstart career for the recent graduate.

Dislikes

No relevance for the LPA mentioned and take-home salary. Too many cuttings and dispersion. Don't expect hike and appraisals every year. Just for name sale they release and provide perks.

No timely appraisals and there’s a delay of 2 quarters. It means promotion or appraisal came after 1.5 year of work and even that depends on the management. The rotational shift will highly affect physical and mental health.

It’s main headquarters is pretty good, if your first company is HCL then you need to switch in 1-2years for salary growth because appraisal is monthly performance based which means you would be getting appraisal marks on every 3 months like JFM, AMJ, JAS, OND so if your marks will always 8 or 9 out of 10 then you would be getting 10-15% hike max.

When anyone came with experience then they would provide good salary but same experienced employee who working with HCL would get 10%appraisal which is wrong

Work life balence is good. Work culture is quite good. Helpful team members, mentors, HRs Hybrid work policy. Flexible timings

Salary compensation is worst. Yearly increment is too much less, not even 10% of your previous annual CTC. Company management is not good. Growth opportunities are very limited.

There is nothing to like in that company except for the knowledge u get that too forced on you in a short period of time. You may never get hike never get ur promised salary and a very big bad thing they expect people to work every day even in weekend in the name of production support and on top of exceeding our capacity they make uwork 12hrs daily in the name sake of volume with out proper rest in the weekends. If quality suffers bcz of overwork they shame you if u focus on quality and loose target that too not normal more than 1 can do they again shame you in front of everyone. Been in this environment for only 5mnths but feels like years of suffering and they are normalizing this on daily basis as if its nothing. No proper organizing works no proper management or training yet they scold us as if we are the only one lagging in everything tho we spend hours of our blood and tears....Read More

Please don't join hcl, or if you join in case, start looking for a job side by side. After 2 years you will be on the bench and they will change your cwl and you have to report while your on bench and no bench manager helps you to get a project. No bench manager replies on teams, or on email or even pick up the call. The best job in this company is of bench manager. Do nothing. Just keep your team's status busy all day and relax. They are just torturing bench employees to quit themselves so their layoff rate would be low. Their kalido app is useless. They just show off that they care for their employees. They took interview of System Admin and recruited me as Analyst then after alloted me to the terrible projects Dollar General and Inter Continental Hotels Group as they having rotational shifts including weekends which changes every week. Project Manager behavior is very rude in both projects..
