I worked at EXL service as a senior executive from 2021 to 2024. Primarly as a full stack developer with .Net technology. I appreciated the company's support for technical growth and versatility. The role allowed me to work accross both the frontend and backend development as per the client's needs and demand, providing a well rounded experience and exposure to various stage of development lifecycle in order to develop web portal related to banking and financial services. While my time at exl serive was largely positive, there were few challanges, sometimes the pace of project timelines felt intense, a balanceing high expectations with tight deadlines could be demanding, Additionaly, while the company promoted skill development, there were the instances where the fast place environment made it difficult to fully explore certain advance technical areas

Work culture, zero work life balance as asked to work on every weekend by the the insurance analytics vp Namit. Such a toxic and insecure person. Zero empathy and fully corrupt creating a bad name for the company because of his way of handling this team. Thre is another lead Pankaj with no brains such a bad mix of people creating a bad culture. My recommendation in EXL join other vertical outside insurance Analytics. one aspect that I found less satisfactory was the salary, which I felt was not up to the mark. Despite this, the enriching experience and the excellent work culture made my time at EXL worthwhile.

Pathetic management. Tonns of work pressure, no work life balance. Favouritism and only the ppl favoured are recognised and appraised.

No fair appraisal for years but they’d give you extra work and expect you to work like the person who got promoted. Micromanagement and stupid ppl are made promoted, who in turn don’t know how to resolve a simple issue.

Depends upon the client and the people you are working with. It's the people in the team which makes an atmosphere to work and not the brand name.

Should focus on providing competitive salaries and good raises to the efficient people working beyond the expectations.

In last 3-4 years many veteran top management leave the organization and those who replace them they are not upto. They are trying to implement US work culture, like hire fire culture but in terms of package they are not even follow Indian market. The new top management don't even respect those who spend more than a decade in the organization.

It's my perspective on my project not company Project and my manager is good Work is there, so get to to work with various clients and gain good exposure Bonus is paid upto 80% for sure which I feel is better than my previous org

Health Insurance is the worst No additional benefits I feel from the company Lot of cost cuttings.. If you work remotely, forget any benefits like team meet, outings, diwali or annual gifts. Promotions are ambiguous and very much opaque.
