Politics is too much in the firm. Leadership do not take stand against right people. They just want to ignore things and move on. Saying it on my personal experience. Manager and above people comment on your families personal things they don’t understand that it can hurt feelings of the individual person. Above managers and top management people ignore these things intentionally.

When it comes to appraisal they bluntly say no after insisting too much they will give you very less percentage appraisals asking for on- role positions they will say what u will do it’s better you should stay on fixed term employment (it means on contractual position) so that whenever they want they can throw you out of the firm. Politics is at another level if you are a hard worker and your engagement partner is smart enough he will take all the credit and because of that u will lack in many aspects in the firm.
