Cognizant has strong capebilities in delivering technology services with a robust support. People are satisfied working here but since past couple of years company has not given ample opportunitiesto employees in terms of growth and compensastion

If you swith to Cognizant, they will provide good salary compared to other service based company. They also push their associate for skill development with regular certification drive.

Dislikes

The appraisal system dropped drastically in couple of years. Very minimum salary hike with high ratings.

Good working culture among similar service based company. CTC is straight forward almost like a product based company where fixed component is more and variable component is less Good team and good development projects compared to support projects in other companies Good work life balance

Hikes and promotion are not good. Recent policy changes are not employee friendly Golden days of Cognizant over once Francisco D’Souza tenure as CEO ended

Stability is good. Though in the ongoing global recession, many of my co-workers had to leave projects because of project ramp down and did not get any other projects. Instead of recruiting employees from bench in other projects they are hiring more from people outside.

Dislikes

Appraisal is bad. So joining with low salary does not help much in the long run, better to switch.

Work depends upon what project you get. Had a chance to work on a small project from scratch.

Work timings are pathetic. You work at your regular timings and still have to login later for client calls. In my case mostly extending till midnight. The hybrid culture here is totally unproductive. Upper management is worse, expects you to be available anytime for calls.

Worse experience with Cognizant, the project they will assign you won't have future and you have no option they will make you work or go on the bench

Dislikes

No future growth ,the management are just to save there position, no technical knowledge, they will treat you like slave ,they won't approve the leaves and make you to work on Saturday. Mentally they will torcher the agent ,and after few day they will ask the employe to be on the bench and take search new job

I got very high learning opportunities with great role and responsibilities and they had high trust in me.

As other MNCs we have all the dislikes especially we will get support even if we are developers, won't get enough resource for the project as needed so will get high work but I'm lucky to get into the right project but my colleagues were unlucky in there as well.

One of the best employee centric company in service based industry, recent statements from leaders from other organisation is shameful and treating their employee as daily wage labourer but thankful to my company leadership who has great vision and decisions are made towards employee focus. Company is still following hybrid model and no fixed days yet.

Dislikes

Promotions and appraisal are not process based, frequent change in salary increament schedule are changed and also arrear are not paid for 3months.

I believe working in a company is totally depends on the project team with whom we are working. As per my team experience I don't have any issues with the people and the culture of the company. The teammates and seniors around me are helpful and also the manager is good, he always motivate us to grow more.

Dislikes

Some time when somebody need to change their work location for the clients need then company should provide sufficient facilities which company does not provide, this is something which is unexpected.

Bad company culture Slave system Compulsory WFO for 5 days a week 3%hike that too delayed by 6 months Toxic Managers Useless HRs Hired us through campus placements as programmer analyst and gave us service desk role. No training was provided by company and cheated us . We were around 1000+ who got the same support roles after being selected as programmer analyst from campus.
