Appraisals and promotions are a big no to you unless you get in to a billable role which is entirely not your job role as a developer. I have been on bench for 2 years and non billable role for q year still haven't gotten rs. 1 increment. CTC got increased with a big change in salary structure resulting decrement in take home salary. The management literally has big flaws. They think bout hiring from outside rather their than using their in hose talents even if there are experienced people siting on bench. No chance of changing technology. Even if you get selected I. A different BU your current BU head isn't going to give you a release. I work on Sundays for project timezone but never received Sunday payouts. Job Security, only to a certain extent. You're forced to resign if you are on bench for longer than a month or two.

Appraisals and Promotions are not at all discussed. We have a annual discussion with the manager, who has nothing to do with the appraisal. The person who is responsible for your appraisal or promotion has zero idea of your work and contributions.

Some managers are really good, but others are worst

Worst company, too much internal politics, work gets assigned randomly and not based on your skills, no training provided related to work, even when on bench not much training or any interview opportunity provided.Even after working for day and night in a project , finally they will make you resign. No job security

Few managers like Ram Kulkarni is the worst guy. He will spoil your career. He does not know anything technically but he is a borden in the team. He will ask feedback to eachother and don't believe on anyone's capabilities.

The work timing are so flexible, atleast in my project. The client side technical team are so supportive and encourages to learn new technologies and gives a chance to implement in the project.

They ask us to come to office 3 days a week but you cannot visit the nearest office though you don't have a team to collaborate in the specified location they ask you to visit that office which is not even necessary atleast to complete the 3 days/week policy they can allow us to visit the nearest office. But how they can allow employees to be relax!! You need to travel extra 1 hour just to be in the office alone. They will give you promotions without any hike or just 1K/month as a hike....Read More

Safe and sound job as i was deployed at client site .No issues as such apart from 0 to 5% yearly hike only .

Dislikes

0 to 5% yearly hike hardly . No promotions . If someone has 10 LPA then 2-3% hike means nothing . Project change next to impossible though they have 18 months rule . 0 Variable for year you exit from company
