They put 90% of the freshers on 24*7 support roles which affects the health, work life balance and mental peace. The rotational shifts takes up your life to death and the company doesn’t care a bit about it. They keep many people on bench for 2-3 years. There is no growth personally and professionally both. No appraisal and promotion even if you get appraisal it’s like in few pennies. They make you work for straight 9.5 hrs and even more in one go. No weekends off. If you want to take off you have to manage a resource from your team to do your shift which affects you and that person’s personal life as well. Managers don’t give a single damn about anything. It's based on client. First I got a client who made me work so much that I was hospitalized. Second client that I got was much better as it was a European client.

There's nothing to like about working at Capgemini. Appraisal and promotion cycles are terrible. You will be sad whether you get or don't get promotion/appraisal as their rates are <2%. Work culture is terrible, they'll micromanage your work. If you're not available in your working hours, they'll raise compliance issues but will expect to work overtime without any complaints on short notice.

They are not giving promotion and like project opportunities are not that great. Sometimes they will tell you to work in different technology because they don't have projects. Food in Mumbai office is worst.

WLB is good. Lot of learning materials for free like: Udemy, Coursera, Pluralsight, etc. A lot of empty time on hand for the next job upskilling.

You don't have the option to buy out notice period which is 90 days(ur agreement is worthless). Managers have been there for more than 5 years in the same team. They won't care about you. Legacy applications live rent-free in this company. U will maintain them and support clients. Don't expect to learn anything that can help your career. Appraisals and awards are given based on Round-Robin algorithm. Don't fall for lie cuz it's a Support Team even if they tell you it's a Dev team.
