Capgemini believes in work life balance. We used to have furloughs. Otherwise also tasks were not rushed. Sufficient time was given for each task. In case the task required to be hurried, time was later given to relax, before starting a new task. Trainings were good and knowledgeable. You were never denied leaves, provided you applied atleast 45 days in advance, for long leaves. Otherwise also managers and team leads were good and understanding. As mentioned, job stability was not there. Once you are out of a project and HRs are not showing enough interest to get you interviews for new projects, you should understand that the company wants you to quit. You would immediately understand this shift in behaviour, once you are out of a project and no one contacts you for next three weeks.

Promotions, appraisal are way to far away from CG. Learning new tech and acquiring new skills are not present in the work culture of CG

Nothing is likable in this company. It's my worst decision to join this company.
No promotion or hike, useless mandatory trainings with longest hours sometimes even more than your deliverables, They ask to come to office but have no parking space so you will have to park your vehicle almost over 1km and walk from there, most expensive cafes where even shevpuri costs 40rs, no good food options, they force to learn new things but don't give any chance to actually implement those even after asking for years. There is job security if you are performing average or above average too. The mentality/ culture of company is of service based. so as long as you have project , you are safe obiously but even if you are not on project then also you will enough oppurtunity to save your poaition.
In terms of salary and promotion , management says they doea not have anything in their hand. After covid they sets mind of employee of low to no incrwment. even if your project is doing well then also you wont have a good increment or in some cases low increment too.
