Salary Suggestion

My current salary is 28 LPA and few companies like TCS and Capgemini have rejected me after all rounds because they think my salary is high. However I am not good with DSA to apply for good product based companies. I already resigned from my current company and relieved. I need your advice on if I should ask same 28 LPA or look for 10-20% hike?

Since you're not strong with DSA, asking for roles where business or technical experience outweighs coding skills might help. How comfortable are you with roles that don't focus on hardcore coding?

Just a question, why did you leave your current job without another offer in Hand? As without any job in hand you cannot negotiate the salary with other companies.

Joining without hike will reflect desperation, you should definitely ask for 10% hike, be confident when you negotiate with the employer
