Job Security is a real plus. Wor life balance is good but may varry from project to project.
Appraisals and promotions are a big no to you unless you get in to a billable role which is entirely not your job role as a developer. I have been on bench for 2 years and non billable role for q year still haven't gotten rs. 1 increment. CTC got increased with a big change in salary structure resulting decrement in take home salary. The management literally has big flaws. They think bout hiring from outside rather their than using their in hose talents even if there are experienced people siting on bench. No chance of changing technology. Even if you get selected I. A different BU your current BU head isn't going to give you a release. I work on Sundays for project timezone but never received Sunday payouts. I am sorry to say because I am expecting employee in Capgemini and after 6 month again I am applying in Capgemini and I was clear technical round also I got a mail from hr @ Ragini Richa. So she tell me you are a select ok and she take UAN card and epfo history for bgv process. and after ,4 days I ping her so she tell me waiting forthe client round you will get a mail and after 15 days she mailed me suddenly said we are sorry we are not take your profile head 🤣🤣 I asked her clarification on this but till now she is not giving any response why ??????. And call to the recruiter team so they told me she is not hr and mayuresh tandalker take my HR round and the next day I called him again to get the update so he told me I am not hr then I asked him then why you are taking my HR round so he laugh then he told me ragini is your hr and recruiter tell me ragini is the recruiter I can't understand what they do internally is they really want employees or after selecting just reject candidates...Read More

Appraisals and Promotions are not at all discussed. We have a annual discussion with the manager, who has nothing to do with the appraisal. The person who is responsible for your appraisal or promotion has zero idea of your work and contributions.

Some managers are really good, but others are worst
Worst company, too much internal politics, work gets assigned randomly and not based on your skills, no training provided related to work, even when on bench not much training or any interview opportunity provided.Even after working for day and night in a project , finally they will make you resign. Onboarded as a fresher but regretted the decision every single day.
Giving my review as a fresher here. There's no job security at all. Firstly u will be hired and will be given a domain randomly whether u like it or not. Then after few months of waiting,if u are lucky enough then u will get into a project or else u can be on bench for as long as 2 years completely cuz they hardly have any project.Even if u get a project, despite u join as a fresher but the project manager and team will expect experienced level work from you and they do not fail to scold or shout on u daily if u fail to work as they want to. After 6 months they will remove u from the project and onboard another batch of fresher in that project for 6 months and this goes on. After that being on bench it's next to impossible to get another project. Even if u wish to change ur domain or learn something new and switch to other projects, there won't be any help from the company. Managers are worst here, during appraisal they say I won't give u a rating if u are on bench, u hvto plead to them continuously for a rating and even after that they will give u the lowest rating. They will assign u back to track plan because u are on bench and low rating, the assessment will be of very high level, and if u fail to pass in any of the assessment then u will be asked to resign Lastly they are very strict for work location, u cannot change ur location, even though u hv valid reasons. Every year project get rolled off. There is no long time project. Worst management even you resigned no one will contact. Buyout option available here, but they will not get, have to stay all 90 days notice period.
