I had the opportunity to work in wipro technologies, chennai. Firstly the campus environment is good, barring from natural disasters the campus is maintained very well with all amenities for employees. Work hours are strict, my client had bio metric finger print, to track actual work hours, this will effect performance ratings as such. We had induction for about one month, to get familiar with the organisation, post which client specific training took place for about 2 months. Ample onsite opportunities in our client location, overall I am satisfied with the organisation especially chennai location. The people I worked with are really helpful and cooperative. The management is totally biased. They give more opportunities to the old dinosaurs who are working for multiple years although they don't have any talent or skills. The new ones who have talent have to slog each and every day to survive inthe organisation. And the most important and pathatic thing is after leaving the organisation you have to fight with the management to get release letter otherwise they will ask you to an amount to provide you the release letter. I myself have fight with the management for about 4 months to get my paperwork as they were asking me to pay INR 1300 for something irrelevant stating that the company is owned the same as I have some pending deduction. And now the scenario is they will hire experience candidate but will not hire an ex-wiproite. I don't understand I was lucky to work with Wipro or the opposite....Read More
