Manager don't have any technical skillset and in Support role, he thinks its a customer support role and wants to finish call or chat within a minute whilst he doesn't know how much time it takes to resolve the technical issue, and he threatens that he will complaint to HR if asks any questions to him, and all upper hierarchy are afraid of him, and under influence of him.

Dislikes

Pathetic company, need have no feeling for you, and talks illogical all the times which cause more stress and affect your well-being.

There was too much politics in my project. Few people in project were misusing their powers and impacting other people appraisal, upliftment. These people who has few power, they have been with Wipro more that one decade and only was able to secure small positions in these long career in one organisation. And their they were running the other energetic skilled employees career.

If you are working for ALIGHT DB Domain, then it's tough to work in this technology. This is not the domain you will find in every company, Tools are internals. So no open source tool they are using. Only work on in-house tool. So learning is less for open source category.

If sometimes work is not being done on time or delayed as an average new joinee, then it does not affect that much.

Poor management of giving training and project allocation because you have to work which is below your skill level and even not your skill. Suppose you mentioned one skill in resume, but you will not get project based on that. Project allocation team forces employees on bench to take any project, even which is not at your skill level.

Wipro work culture is good compared to my present company. Promotions are also good, I have seen many of my colleagues got promotion within 1.5 years. For a fresher its a great mnc, better job security and we can enhance our technical skills.

My biggest disadvantage in wipro was its salary. It was bare minimum even a labourer use to earn more than me. I was working in Bestbuy Geeksquad process and the biggest disadvantage was its shift timings. There were 7 to 8 shift timings and each shift timings will go on for 1 month. And worst part is the shift timings, there was 3am 12 am 1 am 10am shifts which were graveyard shifts.

North and south Indian partiality observed in wipro south India offices. South Indian will always prefer south Indian team members. No promitions, if on bench for 45 days, u will loose u r pay and may be fired. Large bench available in wipro.
