Not strict about dress codes however a descent dress must be worn to office. Lots of opportunities for skill development through udemy tie up and trainings every month. Certifications reimbursement is also there. If you got ti.e tonspend on self development after project work, great company to work for.

Work culture -Spirit of wipro is followed and inculcated in all the employees. Great opportunities provided to Wasians and Wistaites to work and learn and also pursue their PG degrees from VIT Vellore and Bits Pilani.

Dislikes

No fair promotion opportunities, Granting salary hike is biased from practice. Promotions are not based on work in project but rather based on practice contributions and on the "will" of higher managers working in practice.

I got an project where managers were forcing to come to office 5 days a week whereas Wipro has hybrid policy. Below case can by vary project to project. 1. It was like if customer is working you have to work even if the Wipro has holiday, if customer is not working as per their holiday in that case you must work or support as they are unavailable, I mean complete confusion and exploitation of employees in between customer and Wipro policy 2. Dislikes

HRs won't cares about you are alive or dead. No help arrives on your need. No one responds if you raise a helpline ticket and wait for eternity. Even if you got good appreciation and award recommendations from client your promotion is based on certifications you pursue which is a reason to provoke your promotion. Salary hike is a joke.

Nagative points: hike and career growth. Why I am saying carrer growth, Managers and Tl have their favourite employees so they choose them first. If you have good performance still they will not look in to this. They choose only their favourite employees. Coming to hike, it's very less.

Wipro work culture is good compared to my present company. Promotions are also good, I have seen many of my colleagues got promotion within 1.5 years. For a fresher its a great mnc, better job security and we can enhance our technical skills.

My biggest disadvantage in wipro was its salary. It was bare minimum even a labourer use to earn more than me. I was working in Bestbuy Geeksquad process and the biggest disadvantage was its shift timings. There were 7 to 8 shift timings and each shift timings will go on for 1 month. And worst part is the shift timings, there was 3am 12 am 1 am 10am shifts which were graveyard shifts.
