Job security, you can retire from this company if you are satisfied with 4-5% appraisal every year. Most of the teams and people I interacted with in the last 3 years I worked here are good and helpful. I didn't face any politics. Medical Insurance is the best in TCS.

Financial growth of the company is going places every year but same can't be said about its employees. TCS offers maximum 5% appraisal every year to its core employees which is not even at par with inflation in India.

I am graphic designer and there are plenty of opportunities here for a designer but it will depend on your HR and Manager if they can release you.

More partiality with female employees. They don't even listen even when she has valid reason to take off. No one is supportive if we get promotion before the seniors. They will start pressurising you after your promotion.

Level 4 person who isneely joined is asked to report under Level 3 person who is manager or leading team not bcoz of his expertise but bcoz he/she is tenure staff in the process and they were asked to lead as there was no one then...

There’s nothing good to write about TCS. If job security is the only good thing then let me tell you that it’s a myth. They have shady background verification process that will destroy your future. Even if you are lucky enough to survive that again they will make your life miserable in the name of rules and regulations you will quit by yourself.

TCS claims to be an employee friendly company but in the reality it’s a lala company that always tries to find employees’ fault so that they can cut your compensation. They have changed the transportation rules to force many employees to commute through their personal expenses. The new CEO introduced a D rating which means employees having this rating will face a deduction in salary. They force employees to come office even during the natural calamities. Even if the clients/government ask to work from home, TCS won’t allow to do that. They force everyone to sit in the office for 10 hours and the way they have made the rules that employees won’t get time for family, skill improvement, and personal emergencies. 1- Mandatory 5 day WFO. 2- Introduction of D band which reduces employees salary by more 10% 3- delayed promotion. 4- Worst increment percentage even Higher Band - A receiving max 6-7 % annual hike. 5- HIS co-pay policy and increased HIS premium every year. 6- HR and Manager rude behaviour. 7- Many more......
