Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

It's a eco friendly campus, I was working in Pune hinjwadi. If we have time we can utilise the ground or invest our time in playing games or gym but completely depends on work and our project. It's good for working mothers but if your manager doesn't support you there will not be any work life balance. Other than job security/campus I didn't see anything great about TCS

There is a very minimal hike and no promotion nor growth. TCS is no more employee friendly. We have to go office all 5 days which is hell these days.... there is no support and policies are name sake but what ever project decide employees should follow.

During my initial tenure at TCS, I was unfamiliar with certain company policies. Manager shouts at you and humiliates you in front of others. They load you with too much work which takes 12 hrs of working in the weekdays and also in weekends. There is favoritism so you will have to also take up the work of people who do not work and happily butter manager for a living. It is a very toxic workplace. They keep 5 lpa as your variable pay and hardly pay 20 percent of that so your ctc is reduced by 4lpa straightway. Hike is 1 - 2 percent annually. They do not maintain any hygiene in the canteens and there are flies and cats and dogs roaming around. Bathrooms are dirty and so is the drinking water. There's nothing good about this organisation. People are pathetic, and neither want to work nor learn about new technology. TCS is 5-7 years behind it's competition when it comes to its offering. People who has never changed in their life are running the show and think they are the successor of Late Sh. Ratan Tata. People who have moved to overseas treat others badly, you'll be surprised people belittling others over Teams call.. Senior director level individuals will tell you over the Teams call that they don't need your past experience. HR in this organisation is simply useless, and doesn't pay heed to your grievance. If your experience is between 8 to 10 years and you've zeal to work like donkeys and don't want to learn anything new then this organisation is for you.. Also, if you think you'll be travelled to overseas for projects then rethink your decision since only few individuals travel who are good in licking..
