Only Job security and no one will touch until any security issue happened.

Dislikes

No proper hikes and even we get the hike most amount will go the the Variable pay component. Less Basic salary and will get hike 1-2k every year. TCS hasn't revised any policies, same 100 rupees petrol allows and same night shift allowance from past 9 years. Very horrible. If you allocated to Adibatla project, your life will be in Hell, only 4 hours for travell and 9 hours working.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
