You don't have to worry about getting fired. If you behave as per their terms, then you are safe. Even if the project is ramped down they will protect you and allocate you to another project. They have an established process for this.

Dislikes

Everything except job security. Major cons 1. Dress code to follow 2. Slow process and less driven culture 3. Slow promotion 4. 4% hire every 2 years

At the time of hr discussiing salary it was like she is giving money from her own pocket, very limited hike

10 hrs shift to be shown only 9 in timesheet, cafeteria smells very bad(powai) pantries are like small call centers are much better

Now a day after 2019 company management is not so good.. Everyone just looking only how to treat customer.. They just ignore employees every single word. How they will work how they will survive

It’s like a government job, because of job security no one wants to lose their job

There’s a favouritism by city wise, there is no good increment even inflation rate is 10% increment is 5%, management never comes across the associates issue (family illness), every time they think that associate is lying.

Management is worst also so many policies Old employees ( SME or TL ) specially in shipping process treat very bad to new joinees I am leaving tcs because of bad management in shipping process and behaviour issues in old employees special they are 8 years to 10 year they have different attitude in that also Increment is very low other than any company

Health insurance facility for employees and their families is good. Work atmosphere is good. Transport facility is also good.

Dislikes

Promotion and appraisal is unexpectedly bad. Few project management are not good. Aspiration for a relevent process is not give you any value cause they move you as per their choice. Some BPS project has their own politics.

No Growth No proper Recognition No proper Appraisal After doing fantastic work no proper Appreciation too😔 I need to Travel for 2 and half hours to reach office..I have raised my voice number of times to give near by location however it is not happening at all. Overall I can lot of dislikes compare to LIKES

One of best thing is job security in working with TCS and good opportunity for growing multiple high level skills but choose wisely while taking projects.

Initially for freshers they will ask you to work on support project and later they will move you to development or which u like to work but once’d you allocated to support project they will never remove from that.

I get to learn different skills by having unlimited access to udemy and learning access also I do not have an ego to work in development. So when I was released from first project I got support role which then transitioned to kafka project

Promotions and Hikes are invisible. It's based on pure luck If you get a promotion, in-hand salary gets increased in very slow manner.

Good work culture ( if one does not want to work ). One can spend complete career without working. One can deny work by telling lack of bandwidth or lack of experience. TCS has tie up with most training platforms so one learn a lot. If you have good relation with seniors then chances are there for onsite oppurtunity.

Dislikes

No appreciation for project work completion and hardly any promotion or salary hike. Every project manager amd partner will give a ladoo of onsite oppurtunity to everyone in the project to motivate as they are helpless due to low pay and low yearly appreciation of associates. TCS is mostly concentrated on AMS and BAU projects so chances are less to get a role in consulting or implementation project. ( its mostly like tata customer service) No mapping of career aspiration, skillset or education qualification. Senior are mostly concerned about incoming revenue and will tag to any project as long as revenue from client is coming. Getting out of project one does not like is very difficult without proper connection or if the project does not finish. Dislikes

Mindset - No growth mindset, cheap policies to save money from every corner, don't provide any good facilities office or any tech related infra. No concern about employee well being and top management lacks leadership qualities big time.

Work Life Balance is very good, No pressure from seniors to work late night provided you deliver the work within delivery timelines.

Variable should not be considered under CTC, If at all considered should be within 1lac bcoz the company tend to reduce salary based on the variable part.
