Job security, Even if u in bench for 3months, they allocate u in a project. Some policies.

Hike and promotion. Manager won't initiate ur promotion unless u ask. If someone is well doing apart from u,then ur promotion is doubtful.

The work life balance of an individual will not be affected in TCS, also job security is way too good.

Promotion and appraisal is maximum of 9-10%, even if you are giving your 100% for the company growth.

No employee friendly policies, you would never know what is happening in the organisation, same 5-6% increments since decades, work life balance, overtime, weekend works, office commutation, wrost HRs and RMG team.

I like the culture here. There are so many employees coming from different states and are very nice. Also there is caste discrimination. If you are a hijabi or naqabi you can happily wear it without any problem.

Dislikes

It's actually hard to describe likes and dislikes but to be honest it's unfair forany employees working here. Some are getting extremely tough projects and team is also not supportive instead they want you to do everything all alone. Whereas some employees are on bench from almost a year or two.

Freshers can learn and gain skills sets and can switch to another company. Tcs is not like company it is more of like school. After college you can start your professional journey from here. But it has its own drawback which I'll discuss in dislike section. Some of Its policy is good but also these have its own drawback XD. such as health insurance benifits, No layoff policy.

Lack of employee centric policy. Most of the people working here because of job security and life insurance benifits. Salary of a freshers is not practical according to current days scenario. Freshers have less scope to grow up and less promotion opportunities. No matters how much work are you delivering higher management will only force you to come back office. Some people do nothing literally just only sucking the company. Management is puppet. Joined as fresher completely new experience in corporate world but thanks to tcs give me an opportunity to develop my knowledge skills alao help to prevent create new identity in terms of many numbers of aspects which make good learner,leader , help to coordinate with client with highly professionaly in good manner..lot of things which I personally admire and say thanks to tcs for everything....

Personally I admire tcs for all services which they provide to employees but we have to look in terms growth and opportunities for the personal side which are not in tcs..so unfortunately we have to leave the precious organisation for growing concern.

Except job security there is nothing which can help you to grow your career neither skill nor salary or opportunities. If you want to develop your skills or willing to get benifits you need to be always good with manager even he is not a nice with you. Here people's get good hike and appraisals when they have good contact with manager, if not forget benifits from company even you working hard.

Job Security, Industry leading Health Insurance coverage up to 14lakhs plus 6000 domiciliary expenses. Term Insurance(6times CTC), TATA Trust loan for Higher education of children plus on Health Emergency. If you can spend time in learning then here lot of free learning tools are available

Due to mass hiring you will find less skilled people around you. Feels like Freshers training is not up to mark. Other service based companies provides good training to freshers so that It makes them ready to work resources but here I worked with many freshers and feels like they are not trained well so not able to perform well in job.

Job Security and number of projects even if you are on the bench they will not fire you. And you will get a project very fast because they have lots of projects.

Nothing new to learn new. Most of the projects are support very few development projects. If you are lucky then you get chance to work in development projects. My suggestion if you are new in professional career never join TCS. Learning graph is linear salary hike and promotion is almost negligible

Work Culture best of All Work Ethics and moral Work life balance..That's what for TCS known for .. I believe in that they are challenging government job also..Means superb .. Best Company for Female Candidates they can manage there house as well as work very smoothly

There Project Relase process ,If somehow you tagged in a project which don't matches with your skills set ..Then you can't change it..This is specially for freshers.

Very Poor Salary with 1 percent hike annually. Have to go to office everyday. Offices are very bad with poor hygiene, even drinking water is not filtered. Toilets are dirty and don't work. Culture is worst with extremely bad politics and leg pulling.
