Got a very good hike when I joined. Happy with the work life balance. Managers in my project are very helpful and provide flexible WFH option in case of any personal/medical problems. Mediclaim facility for parents (Rare in corporates) has been of great help in times of my father's medical surgeries. Tremendous opportunities for learning and skill development through various courses and web based trainings on TCS ultimatix for employees and other platforms even for people outside TCS. Opportunities to work in various other projects through RMG based on our skill sets. Understood the value of working in TCS during difficult times of COVID when people lost their jobs and TCSers were working in the comfort of their homes with job security and Tata helpline numbers in case of any unforeseen situation. Totally satisfied with my job and feel blessed everyday for working in such a reputed organisation....Read More

Confused about Salary negotiations

CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?
