Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

No hikes, no motivation, no appraisals, shit salary. Failure to recognize true potential from right employee

Except job security there is nothing which can help you to grow your career neither skill nor salary or opportunities. If you want to develop your skills or willing to get benifits you need to be always good with manager even he is not a nice with you. Here people's get good hike and appraisals when they have good contact with manager, if not forget benifits from company even you working hard.

Well the fact that every month the salary gets credited and maybe job security that's it

No employee perks or benefits. Powai branch has bad food services in there cafeteria and after multiple complaints no stringent actions are taken for improvement. No Diwali gifts not even sweets. There are many things to dislike thats the reason I am planning to leave now. What will I do of job security if I am not happy with my work.

Forced employees to work in a project irrelevant to their skills developer mapped to support role also forced to do night shift RMG not listen to the associates team lead just enjoy their time doing time paas no growth no relevant skills enhancement playing with associates future.

There are many ways to learn en-noumber of technologies, there are events every day like coderhon,hackthon, etc... and even company encourages for certification.

Work location can be changed easily, in my case where my parents both of them got heart attack and I asked transfer to to RMG but they denied because I didn't completed my 2 years in base location. I explained my situation that I'm unable to manage the expenses due to this sudden change in family, even now I'm working under Mumbai. Sorry to say this but higher management need to support freshers in this matters, RMG's try to hold then in Base location with out considering the employee situation....Read More

Extremely low pay, late promotions or I would say no promotions, too much, no easy release from projects, too much office politics, no promotion based on performance/rating. No allowances on time, even if you're in a dedicated project still u won allocation will keep on changing every month which cause payments delays. No appraisals, no work life balance, no salary benefits, no work satisfaction. I would advise freshers not to join TCS as a primary option try in other companies as well before joining. Keep TCS as a last option i.e. like some thing is better than nothing only join when u r confirmed that there is no other option other than TCS.
