Freshers can learn and gain skills sets and can switch to another company. Tcs is not like company it is more of like school. After college you can start your professional journey from here. But it has its own drawback which I'll discuss in dislike section. Some of Its policy is good but also these have its own drawback XD. such as health insurance benifits, No layoff policy.

Lack of employee centric policy. Most of the people working here because of job security and life insurance benifits. Salary of a freshers is not practical according to current days scenario. Freshers have less scope to grow up and less promotion opportunities. No matters how much work are you delivering higher management will only force you to come back office. Some people do nothing literally just only sucking the company. Management is puppet. After I select to tcs I stop attend other focus on tcs after received offer letter I been waiting to join to so long like 5 month after bps training period through online during flood time after conduct test I score 17 out 25 they told to put resign mail now I suck in my career

Lots of things.. Company is just growing only because of brand. No employee value, politics which has no limits, no promotions, salary increment is horrible, Toxic Work Environment: The overall atmosphere felt highly toxic. There was a consistent sense of negativity, with too much focus on internal politics and favoritism. The morale among employees was low, and it was evident that many people were struggling due to a lack of support and understanding from leadership.The company’s leadership appeared more focused on protecting its external image than addressing the internal challenges. It often felt like we were merely actors in a carefully scripted play, where the real issues were ignored, and everything was done to maintain a facade of success.The work environment was incredibly toxic, largely due to certain individuals whose behavior was allowed to persist by management. Despite knowing about the issues, the company chose to retain these individuals, which created an unhealthy atmosphere.If you're looking for an environment where you can grow and be recognized for your work, this may not be the place. Opportunities to learn and truly contribute to client delight, personal and professional satisfaction. Work is very rewarding in that sense (not always monetary side). Job security is quite good.

Dislikes

Culture needs to improve to understand work life balance and more women inclusion. Senior leadership needs more women and more empathy. Salary across is extremely low and this is a problem across BFSI companies. Promotions are very slow and that's demotivating leading to loss of good talent.

TCS only has brand name.Inside TCS nothing is good. A lot of favouritism and politics however it’s everywhere but not like TCS it’s next level. Even not proper Management nobody is there to help you.
