Lately it has gone bad to worse in terms deducting associate's salaries for not going to office that too without giving them a seat or soft warning before deducting the money. Associates are losing thousands of money from their salary every month in the name of quarterly results or associates not working from office. You will get good time to learn , so many learning platforms are provided by tcs You can do certifications which are really good and cost is paid by tcs.

It's a great company to work! But as a lateral entry.

You loose your value if you stay more in the company. Few managers behave as if they are giving a share of their ancestral property for promotion. Extremely delayed promotions and pathetic appraisal. No trust on the employees

Benefits like Health Insurance, Tata Trust and retirement benefits. Work life balance will be depends on the project but mostly I have seen that we would be stucked with comfort zone.

Hike would be provided but very less. HR movements like promotions will have long waiting period. Comfort zone and learning opportunities will be depends on the projects again.

They won't provide MS Office access for till C1 band persons, though they want to finish there documents or reports /presentations They won't provide Dinner or cab services during night shift for far locations like Adibatla- Hyd

The company has a very good management professional and HR to reach for the change of project or in any support. Good work culture. For skill development there is lot of opportunities either in digital applications or in IRC with some very good books.

Dislikes

Following the same hike percentage for freshers and lateral entry is not fair. Even after 8 years You could see that the person often switch has greater pay scale than the person who is loyal to TCS. In Promotions manager would play a political game there.

Dislikes

No ethics, integrity at senior level. Freshers are treated like resources. Senior's are egoistic and do manipulative tactics at freshers. More importance is given to non-skilled employee than skilled one. Veg ambience in regional places is not good. There is biasness and discrimination in regional offices.
