The higher management, particularly within PS India (Indian projects), often exhibits unprofessional behavior—marked by arrogance, a lack of basic courtesy, and an unreasonable approach. During my initial tenure at TCS, I was unfamiliar with certain company policies. Manager shouts at you and humiliates you in front of others. They load you with too much work which takes 12 hrs of working in the weekdays and also in weekends. There is favoritism so you will have to also take up the work of people who do not work and happily butter manager for a living. It is a very toxic workplace. They keep 5 lpa as your variable pay and hardly pay 20 percent of that so your ctc is reduced by 4lpa straightway. Hike is 1 - 2 percent annually. They do not maintain any hygiene in the canteens and there are flies and cats and dogs roaming around. Bathrooms are dirty and so is the drinking water.
