No growth oppertunity. Salary is very less for freshers and there is no oppertunity for increment or promotion at all, even if we stay 10 years. Management is partial towards people with connections, rather than people who work hard, and they openly accept it.l, which I feel is very toxic if you actually are a hard worker.

Company policies are good for employees in case of skill development and work life balance. But they have experienced employees who are not ready to adjust to the young people or their culture.

Dislikes

Salary increment is not gonna happen anytime soon. Promotions are just a dream. Some people who did not get train from 1970s are managers so that they don't understand your culture or problems. They think sitting in office after office hours are the people who work. Entertainments are allergic to TCS campuses.

It's really unfortunate that there is no support for working mothers at the facility. The strict adherence to rules without consideration for the genuine needs of the workers is disheartening. It seems like there is no validation or support provided, and there is a lack of opportunities for growth and mentoring. It's totally understandable to feel demotivated in such an environment.

While HR Business Partners (HRBPs) are presented as an independent vertical, in reality, they function as enablers of senior management’s decisions rather than advocates for employees. The higher management, particularly within PS India (Indian projects), often exhibits unprofessional behavior—marked by arrogance, a lack of basic courtesy, and an unreasonable approach. During my initial tenure at TCS, I was unfamiliar with certain company policies. I was instructed to arrange self-funded travel with an assurance of reimbursement, only to later be denied repayment on the grounds of policy non-compliance. Manager shouts at you and humiliates you in front of others. They load you with too much work which takes 12 hrs of working in the weekdays and also in weekends. There is favoritism so you will have to also take up the work of people who do not work and happily butter manager for a living. It is a very toxic workplace. They keep 5 lpa as your variable pay and hardly pay 20 percent of that so your ctc is reduced by 4lpa straightway. Hike is 1 - 2 percent annually. They do not maintain any hygiene in the canteens and there are flies and cats and dogs roaming around. Bathrooms are dirty and so is the drinking water.
