No skill development, Manager's are literally not working. As everyone knows that TCS doesn't fire employee, senior management takes advantage of this and just work for status meetings. There is no reward for talented folks, not getting enough salary and there is no meaning of appraisal process.

We have Job security in TCS, Avarage learning opportunity, Avarage onsite chances, avarage salary increment, avarage work life balance, avarage growth and promotion.

Dislikes

in Some project we feel like Gov Job or mirco management, the Managers who are here from years they feel like that it is there own company, so they do lot of comparison and micro management.

Age old thinking. Senior HR leaders follow HR processes set in place 2 decades back. Company misleads markets. To markets, company gives commentary that the performance is good, whereas to employees, company shares a picture that they are bleeding financially. In a way, they are cutting employee salary to feed dividends to shareholders.

Poor infrastructure, lack basic software for new joiner like Microsoft Team, Outlook, webmail thay too upto 200 MB only , 70 % cut Quaterly performance pay without any reason for all employees new joiner also.Lot of process for simple thong also .

1. No anniversary appraisal pay raise. Annual Appraisal cycle is April to April and criteria for annual appraisal is 1 year. Salary and promotion process being one of the worst metrics on being a part of the TCS family. If you would like to join TCS, consider it in a phase where you would settle down here with a good package as retirement plan, don't join it early in your career because progressing here will make you old.
