This is my first job I am so happy when I joined and learned skills , improved my self and I like the policy, work life balance, opportunity to meet people with well knowledge, experience . I like the respective towards women and they care employees ,their health I am Missing tcs environment . overall well and good.

I felt upset sometimes because of people around me but overcome that . nothing dislikes are there I like Tcs it's my pleasure to be part of tcs.

Job security as even illiterate and free loader can work as software engineer till they retire.

Dislikes

They promote free loader work culture. Skill development on name only. Company culture: Toxic Salary: Even ola driver and Panipuri seller earns more with comfort. Promotions: What are that?.

Poor management in projects, Use of productivity tracking tools(project dependent), lack of collaboration within teams resulting in uninteresting working space.

They provide access to lots of online learning plarforms like Udemy, LinkedIn learning and etc. You could also get an opportunity to visit onsite.

If you are passionate to get an IT job then never enroll in mass hiring because you'll never know what job role you might end up with, even if you are just want to get into IT sector as a fresher then never choose TCS because they are absolutely cheap in terms of salary and the managers are condescending so you might feel frightenedto speak up at certain instances. Salary hikes are the lowest even if you give every possible effort, They are clients puppet, Force you to WFO five days a week and if you do not then they will deduct your Variable Pay, Ask you to wear Formals forcefully. They will even force you to take trainings which are not relevant and seems unnecessary

They are taking new hired with good salary but not willing to give that salary to the person who is loyal and working from 10 years. Policy need to be change for the employees who give there 10 years to the company.

Full of politics, No skilled leadership... If you have good connect with your lead or manager you can stay, depends on your relationship you will get promotion and hike, I'm not blaming all project but mostly like a way...

Medical insurance which will cover for indiviual and family floater upto 12L which is highest when compared to other MNC's.

Worst work culture and corporate politices. You will never get a salary hike. hike will be worsest around industry like 1%, 2%. If you are above 40 nothing else to do in else, no need to career growth or hike, you can just work as timepass!!!

I like to about culture at TCS because it offers a sense of satisfaction and comfort, especially with job security.

However on the other hand, there are two things that I feel are missing: Chances of promotion and the opportunities off salary hikes, which tend to be quit low.

Overall Company is good but only on one condition if your not Tamilian or Telugu then never work under in any Tamil or Telugu manager because they will all your credit and perks to there tamil or telugu subordinates only not you. And new CEO of TCS is again a Tamilian and all Tamilians are enjoying because all onsite and other perks without any effort or work they all are getting.

Worst department in TCS is HR Department, HR is puppets of all Tamilians and Telugu Managers. Even you can able to prove your self with all work evidence, Still HR will listen to Tamilian or Telugu Manager. Its time came when HR and new CEO has to change the name of Tata Consultancy services to Tamil/Telugu Consultancy Services.

Aem practise is too much horrible.projec allocation is decided by practice head and if you denied immediately hr will call you and you know what they will say.this is now because process in tcs you can not choose project even if you selected also you can't.onsite is very complicated now in tcs..not like before

Even in a medical emergency, I was not allowed to receive treatment despite submitting the appointment details and all medical reports. Additionally, there was a staff shortage, with only three people handling the workload of six, leading to immense pressure and stress. The manager and team leader's handling of the situation was extremely poor.
