You can have your work life balance easily as there is not much work pressure and you can take your time without having fear of losing a job.

Dislikes

With work life balance comes dark things basically not much salary even though if you would be doing a work of 2-3 people you will get salary as chiller here and promotions and hike is just a joke with maximum 6% yearly hike and no promotions till first 4 years.

List is too long but I'll short with career progression in terms of salary, you'll get additional responsibilities daily but no compensation. No facilities for employees in office

1. Work hard and still no promotion. 2. Going above and beyond will get you gems(internal currency) and from that you can only get stuff that company has as merch. 3. Nothing. Lots of team politics. Doesn't matter you work hard and over time, still you will be getting b and c bands because of the team politics and bcz management wants other ppl to work by luring them with bait in terms of band which is not even proportional to their productivity hoping that they would work. Still ppl Don't work. In a team of 6-7 ppl 2-3 ppl will be doing the work of whole team while rest just give excuses of no knowledge in the problems and that is being accepted by management. There are so many management leaks, just bcz managers and leads doesn't wanna do their job of managing at right time so they also ask ppl to work who already are over burdened. They keep encouraging this careless attitude for the employees not taking responsibility and not delivering work. This is overall very demotivating for ppl who are actually working, honest and responsible. Everything: No bonus No incentives No time to work on enhancing your skills No proper training for handling stuffs No equal work distribution You are expected to forget your family and provide 24*7 support. No appreciation No rewards Hike almost none - 2-4% yearly Even if you are providing extended support and working in other ppl's shift bcz of their lack in learning, you are blamed for not being glued to your phone 24*7 in off time And even then there is no appreciation acknowledgement, rather you are blamed. Ppl eat your credit, asks for help all the time, most of their work is done by spoon feeding from you and even then they go behind your back to your managers completely discrediting you by which the managers even get influenced. Job security as even illiterate and free loader can work as software engineer till they retire.

They promote free loader work culture. Skill development on name only. Company culture: Toxic Salary: Even ola driver and Panipuri seller earns more with comfort. Promotions: What are that?.

Best company to be at when you get 40+. I regret to join in my late 20s. Too much of learning scope. Easy to get abroad projects. Supportive team and very importantly, Best HRs. They call you by their own just by one Ping. No leaves issues. You can pickup the skills you want to learn and grow.

I am C3A here and been 2 years I am not getting my variable pay. Loosing 6LPA and difficult to get promotion.

Salary hike percentage is very low, especially if you are enter as a fresher I would not recommend here becouse for getting a project is task then the project should have decent technology even you put all your efforts sometime luck will pay's major role here

TCS is really good in skill development of their employees. It gives lots of opportunities to develop employee skills and apply them as well

Few things such as yearly increment and promotions are bit tough and I would say not just fault of TCS market situation were like that after Covid-19

It was a good experience for me at Tata consultancy services. It is a good place for improving our skill, communication with other etc. But one negative point is that work life balance is very poor but other factor is totally awesome.
