Not recommended this mumbai tcs spl olympus location. if you experience you can find out another good organization. This rules and regulations totally different. My previously key skills is different they are giving me diff work and that is not useful. Only copy paste work no one cares your. No value in this organisation.

Working with TCS is great experience but the project to which I have worked the managers are too toxic. They won't give respect to other health, they force the associates to report to office even on sick leave.

Dislikes

Mangers toxic nature. Least respect to the associates. Iam not telling that every manager is like that in TCS but my projects managers are like that.

Best company to work with complete job satisfaction work and family life balance is well maintained.

Biggest drawback of the company is no-rehiring policy this policy refrains pulling back the employees who have left the organisation and want to rejoin the organisation I wish if this policy would be abrogated I would be very happy to rejoin. Salary increment is quite slow in pace that is again a pain point it could get little better.

I likes about the TCS is good work culture, low work pressure, work-life balance, lots of opportunities to learn and the most job security.

It feels good working at TCS. The work culture is good, with low work pressure and lots to learn but the salary increament as per the seniority and role is low. If the salary is justified as per the seniority or designation, I would never left TCS.

In TCS you have flexibility....you can choose projects, reject projects, learn lot of things through various learning platforms. Though during project, sometimes managing learning is an uphill task. Low salaries for long timers is a big drawback. It boasts of being agile but does not use agile for running its own day to day operations. Resourcing is in a big time mess, people working on project have to invest a lot of time in resourcing, there's no dedicated team within the projects ( even projects as large as with 300 people). Quarterly bonus is almost certain to be zero at 12+ yr experience levels. Old school mentality still exists in TCS, where wearing Jeans is a crime on weekdays. Low salaries Late night meetings Leadership vaccum, super seniors are like arrogant bosses, they cannot toleryone word against their decisions. Quarterly bonus is virtually non existent at 13+ yr experience levels

Good work culture ( if one does not want to work ). One can spend complete career without working. One can deny work by telling lack of bandwidth or lack of experience. TCS has tie up with most training platforms so one learn a lot. If you have good relation with seniors then chances are there for onsite oppurtunity.

Dislikes

No appreciation for project work completion and hardly any promotion or salary hike. Every project manager amd partner will give a ladoo of onsite oppurtunity to everyone in the project to motivate as they are helpless due to low pay and low yearly appreciation of associates. TCS is mostly concentrated on AMS and BAU projects so chances are less to get a role in consulting or implementation project. ( its mostly like tata customer service) No mapping of career aspiration, skillset or education qualification. Senior are mostly concerned about incoming revenue and will tag to any project as long as revenue from client is coming. Getting out of project one does not like is very difficult without proper connection or if the project does not finish. The overall experience is good, but need to get more exposure if are in a big team otherwise your notable works are not even considered on appraisals/promotions.

Dislikes

Appraisal is not prior based on performance alone. Also not a good company if you are joining as a fresher, I would suggest if you are joining after 2-3 companies.

Appraisal pattern was horifing , favouriteism are there for Appraisal , RNR, work from home facility, company policy is against favouriteism under the Tata code of conduct but still it is very common in projects. Experience and talented employee get 3-4 % salary hike for YOY but favourite employee gets 7% hike minimum.

Only labors can work here not engineers. It’s not a IT COMPANY It’s a labour shop where labors getting delivered to clients . Nothing to like just hate this company.

Almosy everything other than job security. I worked in client loc. Worklife balance was the worst. Not to mention salary hikes and appraisal which is less than 5%. if u are lucky then 10%. Very difficult to take leaves even tho we had leave balance.
