Yes , I am proud of just getting job at TCS.

70% projects are support projects. If you join as a fresher you have to suffer in career because you dream for good project and growth in career but you get support projects you can't learn new technologies except corporate culture. I will suggest to those who think to get into TCS as fresher I will not recommend strongly, as a experienced I will strongly suggest to join in TCS.

Promotions, hikes and salary perspective this is top worst company in india with no hikes and promotions. They will never think about employees future and their expectations.

- Terrible Management - False promises - Switching roles and projects internally is a nightmare which wouldn't be needed if expected role is given at the first place - Most employees preferences are security and on-site, not worried about growth which makes everyone to work in more relaxed manner. So the environment is uninspiring. - insignificant salary hike ( It doesn't beat inflation) - Takes longer time to get promoted (usually multiples of 4 years ). There's nothing good about this organisation. People are pathetic, and neither want to work nor learn about new technology. TCS is 5-7 years behind it's competition when it comes to its offering. People who has never changed in their life are running the show and think they are the successor of Late Sh. Ratan Tata. People who have moved to overseas treat others badly, you'll be surprised people belittling others over Teams call.. Senior director level individuals will tell you over the Teams call that they don't need your past experience. HR in this organisation is simply useless, and doesn't pay heed to your grievance. If your experience is between 8 to 10 years and you've zeal to work like donkeys and don't want to learn anything new then this organisation is for you.. Also, if you think you'll be travelled to overseas for projects then rethink your decision since only few individuals travel who are good in licking.. Worst work culture and corporate politices. You will never get a salary hike. hike will be worsest around industry like 1%, 2%. If you are above 40 nothing else to do in else, no need to career growth or hike, you can just work as timepass!!!

Overall Company is good but only on one condition if your not Tamilian or Telugu then never work under in any Tamil or Telugu manager because they will all your credit and perks to there tamil or telugu subordinates only not you. And new CEO of TCS is again a Tamilian and all Tamilians are enjoying because all onsite and other perks without any effort or work they all are getting.

Worst department in TCS is HR Department, HR is puppets of all Tamilians and Telugu Managers. Even you can able to prove your self with all work evidence, Still HR will listen to Tamilian or Telugu Manager. Its time came when HR and new CEO has to change the name of Tata Consultancy services to Tamil/Telugu Consultancy Services.

Aem practise is too much horrible.projec allocation is decided by practice head and if you denied immediately hr will call you and you know what they will say.this is now because process in tcs you can not choose project even if you selected also you can't.onsite is very complicated now in tcs..not like before
