Coming the benefits I have never seen such benefits some one giving Job security, Best Health Insurance for family , Cab facility, much more I am happy with the organisation in terms of benefits what we get.

Dislikes

Which I have abserved is management is not so responsible and coming to if any issues happens like assets replacement, new ID card issuing, related they took many months to resolve that issue. Lengthy process for any problem happened. Coming to salary increment for most employee get 2% to 5% hike every year. Many employees are setting Idle in the project

It's a great company for the people who have experienced. And job security is the best part of TCS. I am not saying work pressure is less but less than other MNC companies.

TCS is best place for those who have another source of income, it also provides the 100% job security till now. It's medical facilities is very effective and very quick.

Dislikes

Appraisal and the increment in salary is very bad and even the work life balance is also not there. The main concern is the very less salary increment and the low amount of appraisal. Many a time this concern has been raised, but management is still failed to resolve this issue. It causes the employee to leave the organization. No bonus , no increment , not even a packet of sweets in Diwali or any fastival and if u get A in a year u will get 5% to 7% salary hike .

Everything.. Starting from worklife balance, culture, people there aren't skilled enough, no way to learn things, the company doesn't promote celebrations of festivals, no bonus or incentives.. Hikes and increments aren't given properly, promotion system is too poor there. Employees aren't motivated in the company.. And there's nothing such cultural activities to boost employees.

Few departments have good managers that creat good healthy environment to work.TCS only has fake brand value but on inner side grond level situation of employees totally linked to Manager under whome they report.

No monitory benefits for ground level.Hr is bias for high Authority people who creat unhealthy work atmosphere .Top management politics creates worst pressure of work to ground level people.

Nothing. Lots of team politics. Doesn't matter you work hard and over time, still you will be getting b and c bands because of the team politics and bcz management wants other ppl to work by luring them with bait in terms of band which is not even proportional to their productivity hoping that they would work. Still ppl Don't work. In a team of 6-7 ppl 2-3 ppl will be doing the work of whole team while rest just give excuses of no knowledge in the problems and that is being accepted by management. There are so many management leaks, just bcz managers and leads doesn't wanna do their job of managing at right time so they also ask ppl to work who already are over burdened. They keep encouraging this careless attitude for the employees not taking responsibility and not delivering work. This is overall very demotivating for ppl who are actually working, honest and responsible. No appreciation No rewards Hike almost none - 2-4% yearly Even if you are providing extended support and working in other ppl's shift bcz of their lack in learning, you are blamed for not being glued to your phone 24*7 in off time And even then there is no appreciation acknowledgement, rather you are blamed. Ppl eat your credit, asks for help all the time, most of their work is done by spoon feeding from you and even then they go behind your back to your managers completely discrediting you by which the managers even get influenced. Recent policies have make the company not very good for working. No flexibility, almost nothing on promotion and increment. There are multiple person to do a work but in reality only 1 or 2 person among them know and do the work .

Work life balance is critical because there are 4 rotational shift and very frequently changes. Salary is poor other than other company, here decrease my skill and after your given 100% effort you can't expect a good promotion due to office politics.

Freshers don’t get to choose the technology they want to work on. So, as a fresher, I suggest not joining TCS. The HR team is not supportive at all, and they don’t understand the value of employees.
