The days passed by 9th year completing still feels like yesterday.

Dislikes

Manager doesn't use your expertise, instead they ask to keep on learning new task every month, to form an backup. Dozens of dislike, no promotion, when we talk they ignores and when we stop working then they say appraisal will get bad, hence no promotion. Very poor managing company, it's for retirement old people company as newly candidates have no future.

You don't have to worry about getting fired. If you behave as per their terms, then you are safe. Even if the project is ramped down they will protect you and allocate you to another project. They have an established process for this.

TCS is best place for those who have another source of income, it also provides the 100% job security till now. It's medical facilities is very effective and very quick.

Appraisal and the increment in salary is very bad and even the work life balance is also not there. The main concern is the very less salary increment and the low amount of appraisal. Many a time this concern has been raised, but management is still failed to resolve this issue. It causes the employee to leave the organization. Manager shouts at you and humiliates you in front of others. They load you with too much work which takes 12 hrs of working in the weekdays and also in weekends. There is favoritism so you will have to also take up the work of people who do not work and happily butter manager for a living. It is a very toxic workplace. They keep 5 lpa as your variable pay and hardly pay 20 percent of that so your ctc is reduced by 4lpa straightway. Hike is 1 - 2 percent annually. They do not maintain any hygiene in the canteens and there are flies and cats and dogs roaming around. Bathrooms are dirty and so is the drinking water. There's nothing good about this organisation. People are pathetic, and neither want to work nor learn about new technology. TCS is 5-7 years behind it's competition when it comes to its offering. People who has never changed in their life are running the show and think they are the successor of Late Sh. Ratan Tata. People who have moved to overseas treat others badly, you'll be surprised people belittling others over Teams call.. Senior director level individuals will tell you over the Teams call that they don't need your past experience. HR in this organisation is simply useless, and doesn't pay heed to your grievance. If your experience is between 8 to 10 years and you've zeal to work like donkeys and don't want to learn anything new then this organisation is for you.. Also, if you think you'll be travelled to overseas for projects then rethink your decision since only few individuals travel who are good in licking..
