Appraisals and promotions are given for the employees in average scale which makes the employees to think about jumping the company. Other than that its a very good company.

Medical Benefits and Tag to impress others for being a TCS Employee. I've got released within 1 month after paying 2 months basic salary, is the only thing to say good about throughout my tennure. Thanks to the Supervisor angel person.

1. Next to terrible on appraisal n salary hike n promotion part. 2. HR and RMG are all blood sucking vampires, never were and never will work in employee favour. 3. Supervisor is favor making machine BUT ONLY for Girls and his favourite ones who are always ready to catch his shit. 4. Asking for release from project feels like you'veasked for one of the kidney of Supervisor, he will try giving all the possible excuses which makes no sense but you'll fall prey easily as you are not aware of company policies which happens in 99% cases and for remaining tennure you'll hv to live on supervisor's mercy. After changing almost 5 projects, last one was life changing and finally decided to say TATA to Tata. I get to learn different skills by having unlimited access to udemy and learning access also I do not have an ego to work in development. So when I was released from first project I got support role which then transitioned to kafka project

Promotions and Hikes are invisible. It's based on pure luck If you get a promotion, in-hand salary gets increased in very slow manner.

Good work culture ( if one does not want to work ). One can spend complete career without working. One can deny work by telling lack of bandwidth or lack of experience. TCS has tie up with most training platforms so one learn a lot. If you have good relation with seniors then chances are there for onsite oppurtunity.

No appreciation for project work completion and hardly any promotion or salary hike. Every project manager amd partner will give a ladoo of onsite oppurtunity to everyone in the project to motivate as they are helpless due to low pay and low yearly appreciation of associates. TCS is mostly concentrated on AMS and BAU projects so chances are less to get a role in consulting or implementation project. ( its mostly like tata customer service) No mapping of career aspiration, skillset or education qualification. Senior are mostly concerned about incoming revenue and will tag to any project as long as revenue from client is coming. Getting out of project one does not like is very difficult without proper connection or if the project does not finish. Mindset - No growth mindset, cheap policies to save money from every corner, don't provide any good facilities office or any tech related infra. No concern about employee well being and top management lacks leadership qualities big time.

Variable should not be considered under CTC, If at all considered should be within 1lac bcoz the company tend to reduce salary based on the variable part.

I didn't the way of behaving rmg s and hr s, if we are in bench depending upon skill we can choose the project but the rmgs doing completely wrong whatever project is there they will allocate us even if we are worked in development project in previous they will assign us service desk projects, worst i didn't like this
