Experiments on technology stack. Not listening to senior and juniors in a team. No clear roles and responsibilities. Forming internal commitee with HR and forcing people to shift to Flutter web. Please read this and avoid joining this company at all costs- 1. Product department is led by ex-TCS person with zero Product acumen. New CEO has made Product team as extended Tech team 2. Financial Services is the only potential star for this company and you need to be in the close circle of ex-Indusind bankers to do anything 3. Tech team is pathetic and you will be blamed for their mistakes 4. Business is of small size and there is no money to deliver any new feature including hygiene changes 5. Culture of the company is worst - No transparency, lot of micro management, leaders are clueless of future, central decision making 6. Compensation is below average with no ESOPs (only senior leaders get it) 7. Do not expect to learn anything, there is no peer learning, best practice learning or structure learning 8. At the helm of Tata Digital is a new CEO who demonstrates commendable vision and dedication. his committment to the company's mission and values is evident, and he genuinely seeks to drive the organization towards success. However, it appears that the CEO may be somewhat mislead by his direct reports. While he is a capable leader, the information and feedbacks he receives from seniors may not always reflect the sad state of affairs within the organization. This disconnect can create challenges in decision-making and strategey implementation. Senior staff accountability - the current challenges facing us can largely be attributed to the action and decisions of senior leadership. There is a growing sentiment among employees that this group bears a significant responsibility for the company's current predicament. The current company culture can be described as stagnant and fearful, with limited opportunities for growth and collaboration. Employees are expressing a desire for environment that fosters innovation, open dialog and mutual respect. A positive workspace culture is important for attracting and retaining top talent (which seems to be departing by busloads), and it is only important that the leadership redoubles their commitment to this important cultural pillar. 1. Work culture - everyone is a delivery manager. No one knows what work is to be done, how it is to be done. Employees are questioned whole taking their own leaves. Managers can be on leave for months, but we need to give explanations for 2 days leaves as well 2. Leadership - no respect for employees. Employees are considered labourers. 3. It is a Tata company, so it continues to attract some good people too.

Dislikes

The culture is quite poor. While the new CEO seems to have made efforts to change things, the overall work culture still isn't great, as a lot of the previous leadership continue. Hope Ratan Tata's passing, makes people remember his spirit and values, and what it means to be a Tata company. Right now, I guess I'm not sure if we can say that we are.

Work Culture is great, but this is very specific to team you're in. Lots to learn being young startup across all tech stack. Overall good.

Dislikes

No proper procedures or approvals to get things done, lacks leadership. No proper role and levels distinction. Promotions are very slow and kinda biased. Appraisal hike is very less for SDEs.

Work life balance is not considered at all. One has to work every single day and that too without any extra pay. Culture and behaviour of seniors are very rude and they bash folks but never help them out
