I worked at Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited as an Enterprise Sales Officer for 8 months, and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. The company’s enterprise infrastructure is severely lacking. There's a major non-feasibility issue — they neither have underground optical fiber cabling nor stable overhead fiber in many key commercial areas. Ironically, they have good connectivity in residential complexes, which is useless when you're trying to sell enterprise-grade services to businesses. Despite successfully closing deals, installation often gets delayed or blocked due to permission issues, and there's zero ownership from higher management. Instead of supporting the ground staff, the senior leadership pushes responsibility onto field officers — even for tasks that require top-level intervention. The most frustrating part is the false promises made to clients. The company claims to offer 1:1 dedicated bandwidth, but in reality, the services provided are no different from standard home or small shop connections. What’s worse, there's no proper after-sales support — which is critical in the enterprise domain. Once the payment is done, the customer is left helpless, with no reliable service team in place. Furthermore, internal practices are questionable. Many managers intentionally churn and re-log previous failed cases just to show inflated performance metrics. This affects genuine performers and misguides top management about ground realities. In my opinion, Reliance Jio’s enterprise model is built on misleading claims and broken processes. They are focused on revenue collection, not on delivering value to enterprise clients. It’s unfortunate because the brand name raises expectations, but the execution fails drastically.
