There is nothing to like about working with Sutherland..

Worst HR team doing nothing other than recruitment. WFM is like puppet doing nothing except uploading the files shared to them. Transport department is if no use...still using the old pattern of assigning cabs to employees There's a lot more which is not said by many out there.

Everything here at sutherland is amazing and a great path for freshers.

The promotions amd appraisals are a bit slow but that depends on your capability as well.

Cafeteria is good but the shopkeeper is very rude to all employees which is annoying , unclean restrooms , sometimes cab issues .

Performance ratings will be provides as per employees performance for overal financial year. Says that appraisal will be based on that rating but i never seen a transparent appraisal process means how much amount is going to increase for the particular rating.

1. Too much internal politics. 2. Promotions not based on the performance, most of the company managers doing their job in a wrong way. They are doing the power in a wrong way. 3. I have faced this problem, without any notice, in the end of the month they approved my resignation without notice period. They are doing with terminationin the last of the month and I had stuck in the location without money. I have filed a case against Sutherland for Harrasment, Abuse, Profanity, Cyber Crime and Fraud/Scam. Case is now pending with Mumbai Police, Delhi Police, TN Police, Chief Minister Cell, Human Rights, Supreme Court and Media/Press. Do not join Sutherland.

Honestly it's a toxic work culture, the exit process was unclear and my manager and an SME they did not give clear information about exit process because they need me in the peak time but instead of communicating it that they need me in critical time my manager always tried her best to confuse me and my exit was really scarred me and still I think so many times whether I can be able find a good work place, it's a rotational shift in the night but every week ur timings get changed and also when they need u they will call u in weekoffs if u r available but I always said No, colleagues I didn't find any meaningful connections there....Read More

I stayed in Sutherland just because I had good friends and didn't want to leave them. Also it's a great place to start your career but don't be there more than a year.

Dislikes

Everything is bad. Managers are very partial. They promote the persons who are their favourites. My manager did not even like me and always targeted me because of my personal life. As I was in work from home nobody cared about me or helped me. Had a very bad experience working there.

The team meets will be very nice and caring. Company will give tickets for amusement parks or some out door activities to make you relax once every 5 to 6 months of time. If you are a fresher and want to get a decent job and gain experience in bpo sector this might be good.

Dislikes

You cannot expect this as a permanent job, even though you have performed well they might fire you anytime. Transportation will be given one way, which is also not free they will take the amount from your salary. Morning shift will be good but other timings will not be safe for us especially if you are women. Work life balance will not be great due to the shift timings provided.

During training period if you receive any technical issue problems while answering the technical issue , well you can ask your trainer for doubts. If the solution went wrong which was given by the trainer. Manager will pin point you and argue with you at worst condition.
