Dear HSCian, We would like to start by thanking you for your valuable contributions at HSC. It is also encouraging to know that you have found work flexibility, learning opportunities and also the latest tech that HSCians work in. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we are sure that even you would agree that an organization with “weak management” would not be on the growth path that HSC has been since its inception. It is because of our dynamic leadership and management team that has not only contributed immensely to the culture of employee centricity at HSC but has also led the team through times of adversity including a global pandemic. We would also like you to know that when it comes to job security, we always stand thick and thin with our employees and even with all the noise about “restructuring of teams” we are seeing currently with the sector, HSC has never believed in the practice of layoffs. Also, we have never in the past or present either advertised or aspired as such to be in the topmost quartile as far as compensation is concerned. Our benefits package along with people centric work environment, an enabling family like culture and opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies for global customers makes us one of the best companies to work for in our industry. If you still have any concerns or suggestions then you can share it through the internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, My Ideas Matter etc. or talk to your manager, engineering group head or engineering head for that matter. Nevertheless, we wish many more years of your happy association with us.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for being generous with your review of the facilities and the job security aspect of working at HSC. It is especially an extension of our culture of employee centricity. Also, thank you for your words of appreciation for our cafeteria food. We will pass on the message. In the cons section of your review, you have mentioned that there is “No Learning Opportunity”, which does not hold true and is a generic point made. We would like you and through you to the readers of this review response that there are immense opportunities for employee learning & growth. Be it best Tech Minds & Cutting-edge technologies to work on, Global footprint – no matter be it customer or onsite teams, Center of Excellence, or a dedicated learning and development team. Lastly, trainings can be self-recommended or be recommended by managers in consultation with the employee regarding his/her aspirations, role expectations or project requirements. HSC has earned its PCMM level 5 certifications because we have strong people centric policies & framework. This ensures that concern addressal & performance reviews are independent of subjective personal opinions & biases. If you feel that expression of concerns, has impacted your growth and your concerns haven’t been resolved to your satisfaction, you may want to leverage the open-door policy that we follow at HSC. You can speak to your group head or the engineering head or for that matter our MD, Mr Vinod Sood. His office doors are always open for such conversations. You can also share your concerns and suggestions anonymously through the internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, Zero Hour etc. Please be assured that the highest level of management takes cognizance of such issues (also rare in nature), very seriously and works towards fostering a working environment pleasant for all. Dear Anonymous, Thank you for reviewing our remuneration policy fairly. We have always identified and rewarded the right talent with what they deserve, irrespective of the current notions and trends in the industry. Cons, “No Job Security” & “hire & fire culture”, mentioned by you are absolutely untrue & misleading. Anyone who has worked with HSC or even has known HSC remotely is aware that we have never laid off or fired even a single employee in all these years, not even in the face of daunting challenges like the 2008 financial meltdown or more recently, during Covid-19 pandemic. Addressing the second part mentioned as a con, given the competition across industries, businesses are run to offer value to customer in the form of quality timely deliveries and HSC is no different in its focus on customer centricity. We take great pride in stating that self-driven HSCians have always risen to the occasion, whenever needed, and pulled off admirable challenges. That is how we all, at HSC, learn, evolve and grow together as a team. Just like Customer centricity, employee centricity is a corner stone in HSC’s culture & value system. HSC’s policy on flexible working hours, policy helps ensure that HSCians get break to rejuvenate themselves, after extended hours and maintain a healthy work life balance. HSCians are encouraged to share their suggestions and concerns through the many internal platforms like Q2M, Ask Amber, Zero hour etc. which they can make use of or even talk to their managers, engineering heads or Engineering Group head as we follow an open-door policy.
