Dear HSCian, We would like to start by thanking you for your valuable contributions at HSC. It is also encouraging to know that you have found work flexibility, learning opportunities and also the latest tech that HSCians work in. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we are sure that even you would agree that an organization with “weak management” would not be on the growth path that HSC has been since its inception. It is because of our dynamic leadership and management team that has not only contributed immensely to the culture of employee centricity at HSC but has also led the team through times of adversity including a global pandemic. We would also like you to know that when it comes to job security, we always stand thick and thin with our employees and even with all the noise about “restructuring of teams” we are seeing currently with the sector, HSC has never believed in the practice of layoffs. Also, we have never in the past or present either advertised or aspired as such to be in the topmost quartile as far as compensation is concerned. Our benefits package along with people centric work environment, an enabling family like culture and opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies for global customers makes us one of the best companies to work for in our industry. Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your positive review on HSC’s remuneration policies and opportunities available for engineers across because of our esteemed clients and plethora of projects on various domains. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we are a little surprised with the limited information that you seem to have about HSC, allow us to help you get a correct perspective of it. More than half of the development work at HSC, across locations, is in Enterprise Application development using Java, JS & J2EE related technologies. There are multiple on-going projects where we are working with the latest Java releases including Java 12/13, Spring frameworks, React JS & Angular JS latest releases for UI/Front end development and current best practices related to Micro services, DevOps (Kubernetes, Dockers, etc.). These technologies are getting applied in projects related to Telecom (especially for OSS/BSS related development), Retail (Footfall Analytics etc.), Hospitality (WiFi onboarding etc.), IoT (Home Security Applications, etc.), Video Streaming/OTT (Quality of Experience & Content Management System, Learning Management System, etc.). Apart from this, HSC also works on AI/ML enabled enterprise applications and in data & image/video analytics. We also have extensive channels of communication for employees to voice their concern. Dear HSCian, Thank you for reviewing us fairly and highly on parameters affecting the work culture of an organisation like Job security, skill development, Work satisfaction and salary & benefits. Even though you contradict yourself by rating us poorly on work life balance but terming the work environment as stress free, we are thankful to your review. Coming to the “dislikes” section of your review, we find the choice of language to be highly unprofessional and something that showcases your professional maturity and the criticism as vague and misleading. Most of the times people and project managers are working in the interest of the team and the project. What you might have construed as favouritism might have been the case where the manager knows which solution or approach is better, or who needs to be assigned a certain kind of work for a particular duration and identifying individuals who can handle the work at client site better. HSC is a PCMM & CMMi Level 5 certified organisation with a proven track record of over 16 years. An organisation with such legacy definitely cannot perform at the level we are performing with an “Inverted Structure”. Your review stating, “4-5 Managers/Developer”, is lacking context or any background upon which we can respond. This could be a case of misunderstanding; hence, we request you to kindly reach out to your Engineering Group Head or Engineering Head and talk to your reporting manager for better clarity. We would also like the readers of the review to know through you that, at HSC we have internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, Your Ideas Matter etc. through which HSCians can share their concerns and suggestions, even anonymously if they wish so. Dear HSCian, It is quite unfortunate and at the same time astounding that you find “Nothing” worth of value or a praise at Hughes Systique. We understand that each individual has their own experience to share in an organisation but the fact that in your review you have chosen to share nothing in detail, but only generic points show the lack of connect you had with the organisation. HSC has been on a path of growth and trusted by not only its esteemed and long-time clients but also by the people who make HSC, our HSCians. We are proud of continuing associations of HSCians for as long as of over 16 years and the same fact is testament to the kind of culture we have very carefully created and curated since our inception. Moreover, why an organisation would go to the lengths of “bringing down the career” of its own employee which would result in its own harm, especially in the highly competitive IT sector, is something beyond our understanding. The time & resources that go goes into hiring, training, learning, and development is not an easy accomplishment. We are a PCMM & CMMi Level 5 certified organisation which are awarded only to organisations with best employee practices. We would still encourage you to share your concerns with your manager, engineering group head, engineering head or even with Mr Vinod Sood, MD, as we are staunch practitioners of the Open-door policy.
