Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we believe that you have already made up your mind to write generic, misleading & vague comments rather than providing more context for the benefit of the readers of this review. To start with, irrespective of the sector or scale of any business or organisation, customers are an integral part of the revenue earning process, and we are sure that even you would agree that no organisation can truly prosper if they do not prioritize their customers. But at HSC, just like customer centricity, employee centricity also acts as a cornerstone to our foundational values. These are the same values that have resulted in a rich technical & engineering legacy of over 18 years. We are also fortunate to have HSCians who have been with us since our inception and the media tenure at HSC stands at an impressive 6.4 years. In these competitive times and the sector we are operating in, it would not have been possible for an organisation to be on the growth path that we are on without the support of their employees. However, yes, we do agree that there are times when just like any other software and engineering services company, customer & at times, phase of the project do influence our working routine. That is why HSC has a policy on flexible working hours, which by definition, explains that we do not observe strict office timings. As you must also be knowing that the Flexi Time policy helps ensure that HSCians get break to rejuvenate themselves after extended hours. Since we believe what you might be experiencing could be a case of miscommunication, we would encourage you to talk to your manager, engineering group head, engineering head or for that matter with Mr. Vinod Sood, MD. As we walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy. You can also leverage the internal platforms like Q2M, Zero Hour, Amber etc. to share your concerns and suggestions anonymously if you wish so. Dear HSCian, We would like to thank you for your valuable contributions at HSC and are glad that the parameters of hybrid working mode, work life balance, food & job security found a mention in the likes section of your review. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, you have made some vague, misleading and generic comments without providing any context or information. Making such comments without any information only affects your credibility and showcases your unprofessional approach towards your workplace. As is known to each HSCian, we follow an open-door policy at HSC and employees irrespective of hierarchy can talk to their managers, engineering group heads, engineering head or for that matter even to Mr. Vinod Sood, MD. What you may have misconstrued as politics could be a case of misunderstanding or miscommunication, which if you would have had talked about with your manager then you would not have been making generic statements on a public platform. While there can seldom be done if one has made up their mind but we would still encourage you to either do what is mentioned above or you can also leverage HSC’s internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, Zero Hour and share your concerns and suggestions anonymously, if you wish so. We would also like to address the readers of the review through you that HSC works for leading OEM’s and product companies around the globe. From the three state-of-the-art R&D centres, we are currently working on projects in the areas of 5G, Satellite Communication, Software Defined Networks, NFV, Enterprise Applications, IoT, AI/ML, Cloud, Security, Embedded Systems, Test Automation, etc. And around latest Digital Technologies like Cloud, AI & ML, NoSQL/SQL databases, Microservices architecture, Spring boot, Angular, React, Python, Django, Selenium. In Wireless, we are working on most cutting-edge work in the 5G, O-RAN, Software Defined Radio, LTE, M-plane, Network Function Virtualization and satellite communication, Embedded development using C, Linux, Microcontroller, RPA etc. Coming to your comment on “no new learning”, had you actually have had a conversation regarding your learning aspirations with your manager, they would have directed you towards the Centers of Excellence, where in you can learn and interact with likeminded engineers to work & innovate on technology of your choice. At HSC, our dedicated Learning & Development team also conducts training seminars & workshops for engineers on a regular interval and for which one can nominate themselves. We also conduct monthly Tech Talks, which facilitate learning of newer technologies. The opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies with global clients and learning from the best tech minds by working alongside, HSC offers an all-round learning experience with positive long-term effects on the growth of every HSCian. Also, we would take this opportunity to address the comments you have made in the likes & dislikes section of your review. We would like you to know that at HSC our median tenure year stands at an impressive 6.3 years, which is even more than the industry standards. In addition to that, majority of our employees have been with us for more than 10 years and many have been with us since our inception as well. At HSC we have also many ex-HSCians who have come back because of the culture that we offer. Certainly, an organisation that is “average in all criteria’s”, will not be able to retain the talent especially in these competitive times & market. You must also be knowing that HSC is one of the few organisations globally that is PCMM & CMMi Level 5 certified. Which by extension means that all our processes and policies are conducted by well defined guidelines. When you say that “compensation varies a lot”, it comes across as a vague & misleading statement. But nonetheless, you are encouraged to talk to your manager, engineering group head or the engineering head for we do not shy away from such topics and walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy.
