1. Salary & appraisal: They will not increase the salary for more than 2.8-3 years. Fake promises to increase salaries and hike. No extra money for OT also. And also they are deducting variable pays every months without any reason (there is court case against HCL for that, you can read article on internet also). 2. Work life balance: In one word disgusting. We are working from morning 9 to late nights 9:30 average daily even one Saturday and Sundays. 3. Company culture: Fake promises and fake hike news they spread, and even after 2.8 years they are not releasing hike letters. 4. Work satisfaction: No matter how hard you work they will not happy and they will give more work to you. Nothing zero good about HCL. Unhappy totally with HCL. No benefits from HCL. Even IT support ppl also so rude. No manager gives reply. No one gives reply until we are adding his manager in loop. Never seen unprofessional Managers like this. Bench policy is worst.

Nalluri Geethikha is on of the Hyd hr. Talking smoothly and asking us to put down papers & saying we are not going to give early release so don’t worry you will get 3months notice. literally like this she giving wrong hopes & cheating bench ppl.

Client is God, even if client is doing things unethically it cannot be highlighted. Some of my colleagues were badly abused and exploited, when they complaint, they were released from project without taking any actions. HCL fill seats of projects with family or friends of client which results in bad culture and dirty politics withinproject. Here people work for their own survival not for learning or innovation. HRs in HCL never respond or rudely respond to queries raised which further demotivate the zeal of a person working at HCL. Appraisal cycles are always delayed and postponed. You don’t even get welcome kit when you join the company. No Diwali gift hampers and nothing. Almost 20% goes to variable pay and this has many conditions and you end up getting less variable pay. The yearly hikes are very very less you will get 1% or 2% and sometimes you get a appraisal letter at the year end and it will be writtenas no changes in your compensation, so no hike for you for complete year. It was my first it job and it was terrible. I was in project at the time of my maternity leave.my manager gave me low rating because of my maternity in annual performance and she gave me reason as budget issue.later my hr called me and ask to resign because of low rating.

1. working hours there is no time limit of your shift. 2. Shift timing is changed every week or 2 times in a month. 3. Transport team is very bad. 4. HR said ask your questions but they guys have no answer about Appraisal or Salary increment/ promotion. 5. Appraisal is very bad like 1-5% only.

There is not timing login and logout time restrictions when you go physically to work. But they have a tool to make sure you worked 8 hours a day. Which is good.

Dislikes

The managers don't know how to control their mouth. They talk like how a government employee will misbehave. And HRs are puppets of the managers and DU heads. Very poor env to work. Give you 150% they will treat like you did only 50% and influence your performance bonus badly. Managers take it personally if you talk against their mistake on their face.
