Manager given too much power even if he's incompetent, HR non existent , too much politics like manager can twist company policies against u and there is no check. Only job security is a pro in HCLTech, unless you are someone with 15-20 years of experience at some management level.

Hardly any projects, only support projects are there. Skill development is poor. Pathetic salary hikes. Appraisal cycle will be postponed without any reason.

There are very few and supporting leaders in the company.

No work life balance. No proper estimation and unrealistic targets which in turn affect the employees working timings without any allowance. We are forced to work in weekends to meet the target. Only 3% hike when the company can sponsor for cricket. HR doesn't support employees but rather support the leadership. Hikes not more than 10% even you are exceptional performer. Promotions not happens. High work load. work life balance not apply. Poor HR policies.

I always have work to do and learn.

Dislikes

They try to fraud you in whatever way possible. They drag everything as long as they can. All bonus, rewards strech easily to 1 year delay and if you resigned in between you are not eligible even if it's their fault in delay. No ethics. No rules.

What ever promises that they made during interview will never going to happen after joining. Like Hybrid, cab , salary offered Night shift is the worst shift and HCL didn’t give any leverage over it. Like Allowance
