No Transparancy in increment cycle, delay in promotion and very low increment delay almost 1 year, No opportunity for growth after promotion. They always try to cut salary in terms of cost cutting as per variable policy and quarterly rating criteria 😅 Paid Cab facility 3 month notice period

Rating: 1/5 Review: Working at HCL Technologies has been a challenging experience due to multiple areas of concern: Work-Life Balance: Almost nonexistent. Employees are expected to put in long hours with little flexibility, making it difficult to maintain a healthy balance. Career Growth: Opportunities for promotions are extremely limited, regardless of performance or dedication. Career advancement feels stagnant. Compensation: Salary hikes and bonuses are rare, even for high-performing employees. This lack of incentive is demotivating and undervalues employee contributions. Work Environment: The workplace culture is far from ideal. It often feels toxic and unstructured, making day-to-day work more stressful. Leadership and Management: Poor leadership and ineffective management further add to the challenges, creating a lack of direction and support. Marketing vs. Reality: The company’s marketing campaigns and advertisements portray an image of growth, opportunities, and a positive work environment, but my experience has been quite the opposite. 1. Only God knows about appraisal cycle and evaluation method 2. 100% u won't get variable pay though u got better rating 3. Montly pay have variable component, that too won't be payed 100% which means ur take home salary varies every quarter 4. Don't bother even u worked for HCL more than 10 years ,if u r in bench for 4 weeks ,HR team will block access and threnten u to submit resignation

No bus facility, not good work culture, no work-life balance, worst senior management, very bad appraisal mechanism and which is not implemented or followed by management effectively, salary hikes are very less sometimes a big NO for it, No transparency in any process, policies are there just in documents nothing is favoured to employees and will be considered by HR team only when they need. Overall 8 negatives for 2 positives is the high-level ratio. As I could see the organization is not running in the way which was there 10 yrs back. Everything else except the goods I mentioned above. Especially the salary benefits, people who are newly joining and people who are already having higher salary might get what they wanted.. but people like me who have average salary (below 30k) and average 5 yrs experience, can never expect anything good since they think I don't deserve it.

Worst salary, worst promotion, everything is worst. You have to be spoon of your manager. The appraisal process is worst. You need setting with your manager. HR are puppet of manager, HR will never respond your query, especially regarding salary and promotion.
