As per my 5 years working experience with EXL, I feel very good work life balance

Dislikes

Nothing as of now, reasons being I got everything like salary hike, promotion and Work life balance without any reference with higher management.

Projects/learning is good, clients are also good. Work is managed within the alloted shift timings, good wrt work life balance. Good colleagues and culture maintained.

Dislikes

Hikes/promotions are delayed citing losses, whereas the company is making acquisitions on the other hand. Pay needs to be improved a lot as per market standards.

Three years continuosly I was billable. Recieved 4 rating in each year and got promoted recently but once project got over and after month they kept on redeploy and said you will be forced to put down the paper if they don't get any project during that time. Same thing happened for more then 900 employees at once and you will hear this news every month that some of your colleague is fired. So join on your own risk....Read More

Dislikes

Very bad work culture. They will make you slog for more than 12 hours. The management is highly insensitive. There is 0 work-life balance.

Worst company to work for. Can fire employee at any time with one email without having any client interview. Very bad company and very bad management. They only spend money over advertisement but do not fall that it's a trap.

There's is nothing to like..lots of politics and mental torture.

Extrem politics, manager ego issue, Micromanagement, don't allow to take leaves, try to control their colleague life's, personal interfere and can spoil their reporties career just because of theirs ego issues by not providing promotion and appraisal and ruin their rating. All the ways to demotivate people if they are not buttering them.

Promotion and Salary hikes are Pathetic!!! Upper leadership are the real world blood sucking worms, they don't hesitate even if they could suck 10 rupees from you...I haven't seen the level of cost cutting in any other company compared to what EXL have...very degraded corporate culture..!!!!

I can't say anything good about EXL , they have lots of office politics , few managers like Baby singh she is very rude and unprofessional , she threat you directly about your promotion and job. please never join Baby singh team at all else your life will be pathetic.

office politics , very very slow promotion even if you are deserving, only those who are in good books (buttering people) will get the promotion. Baby singh worst manager ever.

Organization is very good like a goverment job.

Dislikes

Managment team of the process AFLAC which is I was working in is very bad. Too much cost cutting, too much pressure on the employees. They hire the employees on 6 months contract, however there have no policy in EXL.

Not recommended for IT software people as all the technical work is outsourced. Good for people who technically talk but work on manual ppts

Dislikes

No HR department. The company events are lavish and mandatory to attend. Work life balance is totally on manager's wish. Only IT spocs are required here as no technology development is done here.
