If yoi are an editor of any repute or with at least 5 years of experience, do not join the EVS editorial team. It is possibly the worst sort of research editorial unit you'll come across. The AVP is a 50-something lady who has spent a quarter of her life editing the Britannica Encyclopaedia and has very limited idea of what goes into actual business editing. Moreover, she is insecure and you'll need to sit with her through every edit and validate changes to make her feel alright. The rest of the team (manager to editor) is okay but their hiring plan is all over the place. Everything. The company culture is all over the place and they'd rather focus on how to put you on PIP then work towards signing you up for any personal development plan. Besides this, the entire mid and upper management is full of tenured employees who want to do nothing other than earn a paycheck. Besides the editorial team, you'll have to work with people who copy-paste Googled search results as their own work....Read More
