I would like to share my story and I regret that I didn't share it earlier. These people are under impression that they buy people. For them raise your voice and employees are assets are just words which doesn't mean anything to them. After going through extensive 1 hr 45 minutes first round of interview, followed by 2 other rounds,I was selected. They kept whining later, because manager believe this way only they can showcase her skills. She said to me on call she will highlight when she was not getting any opportunity to do so from my end. She shouts at you. zero professionalism. Either they regret their hiring judgement or they love to mistreat people. If you want to be here, you should have the skill to treat people like shit or to allow yourself to be treated like one or you should a boot licker. Managers don't know their boundaries. When you'll go onboard, they will brief you on every policy and step they take to avoid internal politics. But trust me, they don't do so. For them these are just words. They couldn't handle instant covid lockdown that well. They did what every other company did, but regarding work management they failed. Their is a lot miscommunication here. You say something, they will understand it the way which could be use against you. Manager defend her lack of technical knowledge saying that her educational background is not chemistry. Then why was she hired for that profile. Work was duplicated due to lack of communication. Manager take you on call and shouts at you, again and again, despite when you made your boundaries very clear and you working for 18 hrs for 7 days forever. You are being told you are hired for a 9 hr job and informed you have to do a 10 hr which later was 18 hrs, no weekend. They treat you as a kindergarten child that if you don't work for 18 hrs a day for 7 days they will escalate it. To whom? To Principal of kindergarten? Then, you are forced to mail your leave, instead of applying with everyone in cc. Leave to be mentioned in subject so that it appears in bold. An entry level person is not suppose to do that. Only higher management apply for leaves like that. It was a half hours of which would have been compensated by my OT. And despite, me working for 18 hours for 7 days continuously for more than a month, my manager asked to resign. She made sure whenever she shouts at me or do anything or say anything like this, no other person is on call with us. Later, my buddy and others stopped replying to my text which was work related. People like this can never be satisfied. Their is another very dark side which I faced here. But m not sharing it right now. They should thank me for doing so. Still, they expected me to serve my notice period and continue working like this during my notice period as well. They laughed. They don't know how to be humans. They should know their boundaries. These things are done when employee doesn't work, not with someone who is dedicated. Worst part, they asked me to share all the links I refer to brush up. This was done for personal development. What does that has to do anything with work. You cannot have the idea what I gone through when I was there. I waited for the right time to share this, but now I believe there is no right time. Team collaboration is not there and seniors are not willing to help and support. Seems like each project is a college project where everyone is trying to be in good books. No streamlined approach to work. Leadership shows up when project is failed otherwise they are chilling around.
