Not getting hikes, increments. Not recognizing hardwork we did. No claims for medical emergencies as there is lot if rules for everything. No work life balance Need to work officially 10hr and unofficially 14hr, lots of work pressure. No cab facility. I joined Cognizant as a fresher and it’s a best place for starting your career. Culture is very good maybe because of company USA origin. I got good ratings for my hard work without any politics.

Dislikes

Salary and hike is low. Waiting period for promotion is so high even though if you have top year end rating.

Salary comes on time. Leaves also gets approved easily.

Dislikes

No work life balance. No projects in company so they silently fires. Not so good culture. Not so get promotion(1-5%hike only) or no benefits (whole year). Not that much bonus yearly.

Those who are in bench more than 50 days, HRs will contact employee and putting pressure on employe to forcefully resign. But they give 5 months full salary for the employees. After resignation

Here the job stability is equal to 0. And the standards for this company is very poor. I will never recommend this company to anyone. There is politics in everything such as promotion, salary hike , Ratings etc.

Particularly from experience with my project, teammates are very helpful and supportive, there aren't any petty politics happening behind your back. They're flexible and understanding about work like balance and working hours.

Dislikes

Promotion and appraisal policy is not very optimal, sometimes I felt I am not duly compensated against my efforts. Job offers from other companies aren't matched and even early release is difficult to attain while being in a project.

Even after hard work and good performance and ratings, you will not get any promotion and the appraisal are very bad. There is no work life balance and there are always issues whenever you want leaves.
