Worse experience with Cognizant, the project they will assign you won't have future and you have no option they will make you work or go on the bench
No future growth ,the management are just to save there position, no technical knowledge, they will treat you like slave ,they won't approve the leaves and make you to work on Saturday. Mentally they will torcher the agent ,and after few day they will ask the employe to be on the bench and take search new job

I can't say I dislike anything. But recently promotions of people have been held for some time and hikes % has been lowered to very low. 5 rating person has 4.5% hike. This is really low compared to industry standards

I appreciate the collaborative environment at Cognizant, where learning and sharing knowledge are highly encouraged. The company offers plenty of growth opportunities and exposure to diverse technologies, such as Salesforce and more, which helps in continuous skill development. Also I became GenC next here right after one year and got all the timely increments and promotions.
While Cognizant offers a lot of growth opportunities, the fast-paced environment can sometimes lead to high work pressure, and balancing multiple projects can be challenging. Additionally, the communication between teams could be improved for smoother project coordination.

It is good for beginners, avoid going into support project as they will make you work even on your sick days off. And HR wont help in this case either.
Work-life balance is close to non-existant. Really poor promotion cycles. No help from anyone if the project shuts down, you will have to look for another one on your own , else they will remove you. Used to pay fairly but is now as good as literally any other company like TCS, Infosys in terms of both work quality and compensation. No real way to move vertically based on merit unlike TCS.

If ur manager is good and have guiding nature and judges u on the basis of work, u r soo lucky else u will have praise them(iykyk).
So much of internal politics goes on. My manager has pulled her brother into the same project and he has been been promoted to associate within very time irrespective of his work. His work quality is very poor. And during client meeting also, he was not able to convey his deliverables properly. The client was not at all satisfied and irrespective of all this he got promotion this time.
