The most I disliked is the annual hikes which is just peanuts. They have given 3-5% hikes to all the employees ( 5% was the maximum hike given to the top performers, rest all got 3-4%. Management forced us to work on weekends from office which could have been easily managed from home as no one comes on weekends and feels like I am in graveyard, and the entire bay remains empty.

Promotion cycle/criteria changes recently adopted (Internal Job Moves) - allowing supervisors to promote the resources to next level without a specific criteria. This is creating official platform for favourability.

Dislikes

Cognizant bench policy is bad, they give less days to get yourself into a project. Also salary hike is low.

Authoritative Leadership, Office politics, Biased opportunities and performance reviews. Forced attrition. Insurance policy is not good. Delayed hikes and promotions, Extended work hours due to hybrid work policy. Pets take most of the perks unless you work so hard that they have to share some. However, these are most common things that you will come across all IT companies. Just learn to survive, upskill and excel. What's there not to dislike. Biggest issue is that there's no HR to raise ur concerns to. All they have is a portal and that too just for show.

It may vary project to project and management to management. My previous project experience is very bad due to the management only. My current project , client and management is quite good.

Leadership matters the most. If you are under right leader you will have proper growth. You will have flexibility to work.

Dislikes

Organization still blindly believing some unskilled leaders. Noone seems to cross questioning on their capacity. Mostly onshore team members rushes behind taking someone's credit on their name. There are many positions where unskilled people are present which will let you work without playing politics.

For me provide learning and development opportunities such as certification vouchers from various companies.

For me not giving salary hike as per my payable work for last 3 years but it depends on projects to projects and manager's not a company issue.

To begin with, there is 10 hours shift wherein in the offer 9 hours is mentioned. Without proper training, they expect a new joiner to learn every single thing. Loads of politics and backstabbing from the management. No work transparency No support for the new joiners, they have to figure out everything on their own.. especially when you relocate

They had forced me to give resignation letter. Due to I was in bench 35 days . They gave trainees as pyspark but they didn't provided as our skill based Project.
