Cognizant is going to be most. Torturing company in coming future and it is going to collapse. People who came from 3rdties companies in terms of employee benefits like TCS,HCL,Infosys,L&T and Wipro etc. are now abusing cognizant it has gone so low this time

I liked the ambience and my colleagues in my healthcare domain we used to call by names and not by Sir or Madam Cognizant given me when it comes to personal growth

Many things I dislike about Cognizant that is their washrooms were not clean and planetary area. Everywhere there are cockroaches. The management here is good, but favourite ism and in equality among employees was done based on the religion criteria and not everyone was treated fairly not speaking in regional language Taking cooked up meetings when there is any sick leave taken with document’s but not approved by Manager, then it would be considered as LOP. I still remember an escalation was done by me by a behaviour of my SME. But when I mentioned the same to a manager, he stated he will surely look into this and the next moment, I saw him laughing with my Sm. Management will not care about your problems. Salary is low compared to competitors. They'll change your project at September and for year end rating they'll simply say we haven't got chance to fully understand your capabilities as you've recently joined in the project. Every year this loop continues. No matter how hard you work or how many appreciations you get from client. "The more number of days you're in the same LOB, the more rating you'll get." Being big company generally we get projects after one project finishes. Since last year started to focus on training

No benefit of certifications. Is pure luck to get project on new tech. No one cares for your progress. Only project work matters. Employee benefit are below average.

The most I disliked is the annual hikes which is just peanuts. They have given 3-5% hikes to all the employees ( 5% was the maximum hike given to the top performers, rest all got 3-4%. Management forced us to work on weekends from office which could have been easily managed from home as no one comes on weekends and feels like I am in graveyard, and the entire bay remains empty.

As a technical support analyst, your leaves depend on the team. I worked on 3 different teams 1. Large team you have to preplan the leaves minimum 15 days before the start of each month, so it is hard to get leaves for festivals 2. Good manager always approved leaves 3. Can't even imagine to take leave tightly packed roster. Work life balance is good because I was in work from home most of the time. The best part of cognizant is skill development - Free Udemy subscription, Free vouchers for Microsoft, Google, AWS certifications. Job security depends on situations. Few of my friends were in bench for more than 6 months, happily receiving salary without joining any project. While one of my friend was dismissed from cognizant because of not reporting to office during bench time. It all depends on the lead., my last project lead is a good man but a bad lead, he is new to cognizant as well.
