Don't expect any appraisal or hikes or any benefits. And you have to follow strictly office timing there is no any exception. They are following some office politics and favorites. No leaves approval you have to beg for your leaves approval

Well it's a very good place to loose your mind and and peace. With the best 10 hours work culture and no benefits. And the best thing is the ratings they give depends on their personal choice and mood and the best part is once the rating is given it cannot be disputed. And unexpected promotions which will be given to others. Eg if A works hard B will get the promotion. Based on favouritism.

Hmmm. .... Everything. There is no help nor there is any support all are busy with their targets and targets and targets.

I like working in Cognizant, I won’t say this is best place to work, but if you are looking for settle or tired of weird culture or any issue. This company is better then those.

Dislikes

Here Manager literally owns the company, straight forward rule, you have do everything that your manager says, to manager and get progress. Variable and Bonus get cut down to 20-30% only. Even if you perform the best.

There are many points 1. promotion criteria which is worst in all mnc. 2. salary hike is negligible. 3. even there is no such activities happened which makes you motivated through out the year.

Overall typical service based company, with lower appraisal %, ideal to stay for 3 years max, else growth would be stopped compared to market and you will be in comfort zone.

Appraisal cycle is worst, they do rating in Dec month and release in Jan, but appraisal will be in impact from June salary. Promotion is a problem here, and you will have to cry every year. It takes minimum 3 years once u r at one level to expect promotion.

Salary comes on time. Leaves also gets approved easily.

No work life balance. No projects in company so they silently fires. Not so good culture. Not so get promotion(1-5%hike only) or no benefits (whole year). Not that much bonus yearly.

I had been worked in cognizant for almost 2.9 years. Overall it was good to work with cognizant , up and downs were there but during my bench period I learned too many technologies that help me to grow in personal and professional growth thankful that cognizant have free Udemy access however each and everyone can learn the new technologies.

There's lots of opportunities to grow and get skilled in latest technologies. Certification opportunities and widely available. Work Life balance vary from project to project.

Dislikes

Even though the fixed components are higher than many companies, it's quite less compared to many leading it giants. The yearly increment is very less and it's zero to none for freshers. Appraisal of 5 star rating is almost never given even after going above and beyond expectations. You'll be compensated with bare minimum cheer points.

Nothing I liked. One of the torcher organisation. Making people to commit Suicide with their behaviour. No support from anyone.

One of the worst organisation I have worked in my entire life. With no good faculty no work support. Making human torcher with their work. Mis-using of all leads. There is no person who is ready to listen to agents. If we do anything or not it's completely comes under our fault. If you don't know anything if you ask its your fault.
