There is nothing to like about working at Capgemini, It was a nightmare for me.

Dislikes

Managers try to put in a spot, blaming you for something which you haven't done. They'll throw people out very easily. I have wasted 1 year just to get onboarding email from capgemini and later when I received, after my training, there were no projects and they wantedly conducted some exams, interviews and when we gave our 100%, gave all false feedback. I can never suggest Capgemini to anyone.

You will have tons of Learning Accounts and from there you can learn everything. Working policy is hybrid but you can take wfh by taking approval from your upper managements.

Dislikes

They don't care about you. They don't have any projects they follow hire and fire policy. If you don't get any project there then you will be in the Red Zone.

No promotion even you work hard , no job security , manager put you in pip if you delay any task and after that you will be terminated.

Dislikes

office politics , manager give you heavy workload , if any task is not completed on time they put you in pip , and terminate you , no job secuirty, no increament they give you 4 rating and after that they will scold you for your task, even if you work hard .

Some people from the higher management are very keen in research and development. Since it is a service based company so might not receive much monetary benefit from it, but if you enjoy the work you will get a lot of appreciation for your work and exposure.

Dislikes

The TL and delivery managers doesn't care much about work like balance. They prefer licking the clients boots rather than voicing for what is right. To my experience TL's don't care much about your career or area of interest and would rather ask you do something that falls completely out of your interest. Your job is not secure, If you are on for 2-3 times you will get Hr call and they force you to resign without any prior intemations they didn't accept their fault how a man can get project without interview scheduled by Staffing patner.

Dislikes

HR management is the worst, even if you mail them 10 time they will not reply. Recently capg started back to office even for night shift but they close the office canteen and snack center after 9pm, if you can’t accommodate your employees then please do not call then at office during shifts. Also cab service been a stress, then don’t have home pickup/drop facility instead they have given me the metro train stop, I don’t understand how can i walk 2-3 km from my drop position to my home at 3 am ?...Read More

Work life balance is not that bad. Getting good mentors or managers are upon your luck.

Dislikes

No projects at the moment. Bench candidates are getting harassed for no reason. Also getting no help to get preferred location. Facing much partiality as an outsider.

Dislikes

Long time bench period for freshers. Not a good choice for freshers. For me it's nearly 2.6 years still no projects and they are trying different ways to terminate bench people.
